         <description><![CDATA[<div>Level 1 completion and retention. I believe this is due to the learners having consistency with one tutor. Emotional and academic needs catered for<br><br><strong>Work Experience.</strong><br>Moderately successful, due to Placement Officers efforts, however due to learner level, emotions and suitability for WEX in an Early Years environment, not as effective as desired. Intervention at week 1 and insistence that all documentation for DBS be produced before 6 week rule, with removal consequences for non compliance.<br><br><strong>Disciplinary Procedure (Attendance)<br></strong>First stage implemented following college guidelines with second stage invoked due to non compliance. Second stage meeting held with new targets. Learners who have not met targets are referred back to stage 2 manager and extension targets given. The guidelines are clear and should be strictly imposed (mitigating circumstances considered) as the learners are contemptuous of the procedure, which does not lend itself to proactive attendance management </div>]]></description>
