- LWLS because he doesn't feel the need to change the status quo, thus need to let him witness a successful lesson or lessons so that he can be bought in to the idea of it (he needs to be intrinsically motivated first)
- get him to focus not on the technical aspect of math, but in how when pupils are more motivated (experience joy of learning), they too will then have more self-directed learning when it comes to the subject --> this can be done by colleagues who already have good rapport with him

Convince him that SLS is a one stop portal for students. There are numerous advantages in using SLS. There are readily available resources that can be adopted and adapted. Copyrights is also not an issue.
