This angered the colonies because any goods brought by the colonies in Europe had to go to England first and be taxed before they could be sent to the Americas. When the Colonies got enough of this they established their own rules for trade.They revolted against England because one of these factors. </div>]]></description>

Since the population in colonists was expanding the needed more land and materials. Colonial merchants began smuggling, or shipping goods without paying the British tax. This caused individualism and they started to gain power because of the more freedom they had when they started to revolt against England. </div>]]></description>
