I was born and raised in America and my country truly means a lot to me. I appreciate all of the freedoms that I am able to exercise. A lot of my ancestors are from all over Europe, with my grandma coming from Manchester, England almost 48 years ago. Her appreciation for our country has helped develop my cultural identity and to be proud to be an American.

Family

My family means so much to me and I truly don't know what I would do without them. The last couple of years have been exciting to be able to add more members to our family. I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and my parents who I look up to so much. The other three people in the picture are my two sister-in-laws and my boyfriend. This past year has been exciting to find out that both of my sister-in-laws are expecting baby boys in December so I get to take on the role of auntie! I am so grateful for my family and the support that they are to me.

Travel

I absolutely love traveling and exploring different parts of the world. This helps shape my social identity and learning more about different cultures. This is a picture in Kauai, Hawaii and this island is an absolute dream. We just booked a vacation next year to the big island of Hawaii and exploring Kona and Hilo. I plan to spend a lot of my life traveling because it brings me joy.

Golf

Golf has been a huge part of the last few years of my life. I started playing golf in high school and it has truly contributed to both my personal and my social identities. I have met so many close friends through golf and it has shaped who I am. It is one of my biggest hobbies and creates a space for me to be social with friends and family.

Religion

My religion is a huge part of my cultural identity. I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and plan to raise my kids in this religion as well. Having a spiritual aspect of my life has contributed greatly to the kind of person that I am and the outlook that I have on life. This picture is of the Deseret Peak temple which has just opened in the last month. This temple is close to my house and I love the little reminder of God's love for his children.

Music

I know that we were only required to do five, but music is a huge part of my life. It has contributed to my personal and social identity. I love how versatile music can be and that there is a song to describe every type of feeling. I listen to all kinds of music and love going to concerts with my boyfriend and experiencing live music. All of my friends are amazed by how many songs I have memorized and how many songs are in my playlists. I truly find so much comfort in music and how relatable it is in every aspect of life.
