The mayor is seen later on in the night pouring the blood into the fountain and the towns people gather around the fountain in cloaks and they do the macarena if interrupted they will drink the blood and rock soup and appear to get unpetrified. and healed. if less interrupted they will speak about their patron a very strong and abnormally large forest giant that helped them break the curse of the vanish.

the red gems are an ancient power source created by a devil, the one that revived drip for the entire purpose of using them to take over the world. a regular person turned archfey has been using them to control the fuddlekish. and after drip leaves the party she successfully murders her and steals the power of the gems, we find out that that former archfey was only really a sicentist that could predict the future that was useing the fuddlekish to protect a specific area from her, and in her absence after we killed the fuddlekish drip finds the area and begins the tedious process of trying to summon a devil.

For her in light of providing a way out of the vanish possibly. everybody went to bed and had terrible nightmares of great betrayal that doesn't make any sense the focal point of it all being drip, and a lava monster how weird those dreams were... or i guess not because nobody said a word about them.
