We went on excursions that were very fun but, what I want to focus on is the trip to Alaska. We went to several islands and one of my favorite excursions was zip lining. The employee who took the photographs tricked us into thinking there was a bear and she has to go tranquilize it and move it because her suitcase said bear. The company. Me, my sister, and my cousin should've realized it was her camera. Oops. But another excursion was going into a helicopter and going onto a glacier. Then we got to dog sled. I only needed to wear a sweater because it was summer time. I used to be into Punk but now, I'm more into Indie. Some of my favorite artists are Girl in Red, Dodie, Pheobe Bridgers, and Aurora. Once, I stayed up all night for the new Aurora album to release. It was called A Different Kind of Human (Step 2). Many of the artists I listen to are LGBTQ+ and I think that's really cool that they get to express themselves through songs. Here's a link to one of my favorite Aurora songs. Small bit of a gore warning (plants coming out of eyes) but to be fair, she is talking about emotions and how they can effect you. TV shows and drawing kept me afloat during quarantine. My favorite shows are iZombie that ended back in around 2018 and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina that releases another part late 2020 but was cancelled by Netflix. That was announced July 9th. I will also admit that I was pretty sad when it was cancelled as they said the 5th part called "Witch War" would be the best season yet. But what I'm reading right now is The Keeper of the Lost Cities series. It's an 8 book series and I'm on the 6th book. I think the first book I read was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Suess. It was probably one of my favorite shows that I've went to. It's the only musical but, I've gone to several concerts. When at the Mean Girls musical I got a poster and a hoodie. It's the hoodie I usually wear during class, the light blue one. Other musicals I watch are on youtube. The channel is Starkid. One of the actors at Starkid (Mariah Rose Faith) got into Mean Girls and she got to play Regina George. Her vocal range is insane! In order they are AJR, Panic! At the Disco, Rhett and Link (technically they are comedians but who cares), Dodie, and Melanie Martinez. My favorite one so far is Dodie. At the Panic! At the Disco concert we got seats right where the lead singer would walk through. But, someone from two rows ahead of us walked in front of me, blocked me from getting a highfive, and fell onto my lap. K-12 is a movie that has the artists album in it. The album that is in the movie tackles a lot of heavy subjects in a respectful way that calls attention to the problem.  The artist who made the movie and album is Melanie Martinez so, I applaud her for the way she handles the subjects. I have a telescope that I barely use but I hope to use it more. I have many astronomy books along with a book of constellations that I have a ton of sticky notes in for my favorite constellations. But, my top of the list favorite constellation is Pegasus. I wish I could actually navigate the night sky though. That's probably the only interest that I haven't shared already on this padlet.
