Hidden Bunker in Budapest, a really great experience that starts with a video and guided tours. The Bunker was looked after a family for a number of years, taken back to different periods and a creative use of space and the senses. You can climb on and inside the ship to see the different rooms set out like they would have been during the expeditions! You can also climb up to ring the bell! Best of all, they project the northern lights onto the ceiling!

Solo gallery

Beginning with his journey to Africa, the visitor is shown how Roald Dahl's real-life adventures led him to become a writer, working from a small hut in Great Missenden.

The Story Centre

This is the Museum's creative hub where the displays will inspire your own writing and story-making. Listen to top tips from your favourite authors, make a stop-frame animation, sit in a replica of Roald Dahl's writing chair, create a character or a gobblefunk word.
