The cartoons all include dark themes and the fall of Nazis in a gruesome way. Also, they are all black and white, which can depict the dark time. 

Messages:

1. First: It shows if the Nazis won and how terrible it would be. They would all fall one by one and there are many uses of Nazi swatikas. 
2. Second: illustrates Nazis marching to their own death and it appears to be their own fault. Also, the last cartoon 
3. Third: The third is depicting how the americans see the war versus how the Nazi viewed the war. It is showing the differences of what is good news in one country is is bad in another. 
4. Fourth: depicts a chef "Roasting Adolf," which shows how they think  they can beat Hitler. 

The americans most likely had little to no basic ideas about the war. All they new was what they were told. 

 The second is the most meaningful and very clearly conveys that the Nazi's are marching to their own deaths. They are marching to their ultimate defeat. It is dark, scary and gloomy.

2. The message is: yes the Nazis are very powerful, but they are falling because the Soviet Union is even stronger. Giving hope to the Soviet Union that the Nazis can be defeated.

3. They probaly thought in the beginning that they were bad, not an ally with the US, but not seen as a threat. They dislike the Soviet Union, but dislike the Nazis more.

4. We find the "Stalin serving roasted Adolf Hitler" most effective because it is viewed in a different perspective and brings the war into real life through a children's cartoon. The way Stalin is eating Hitler shows how much power Stalin has over him. They are all black and white and they have similar message about how the Nazis continued to take over and destroy many countries. A lot of people thought of Hitler as a major threat and wanted him to be gone. 
2. The pig cartoon is showing how other countries want Hitler dead and burned away. 
The political cartoon is talking about the bad news when which the Nazis have gained control and taken over more territory. That is bad because they do not want them succeeding more and more. The good news is about the US doing something good against the Nazi forces.
the skull one is showing a bunch of soldiers marching holding a Nazi flag walking into a skull. -The first image depict the Nazi's defeating the Russians
- The second image depicts the Russians defeating the Nazi's
-The third image shows two different situations, almost in the form of a newspaper. The first part explains how the Nazi's attempt to take out Moscow from different sides. The second part shows how the US is also playing a role in this battle by beating the Nazi subs.
-The last image shows Stalin serving "Roast Adolf" on a plate.
