how do you define your personal style in photography?

Personal Style is how you, the photographer, would like the photo, the end product, to look like. (mag)

My style is quite peaceful like the vibe u get after seeing my photos, its just what you want others to see. (xuan)

mine is more like candid and hopefully street next time (annette)

my personal style of photos for outdoor would be a more cinematic/chromatic type of photos when greenery is around (smth like wedding photos u could say). For indoor, I use a speedlight so that I am always in control of lighting, thus this is pretty standard when I am doing event photography. So the personal style i go for in indoor would be using techniques to elevate my photos such as Reflections, rule of thirds, leading lines, the edit is pretty standard for this. (cyrus)

My personal style is spontaneous shots, mostly of interesting details or scenery I may see when I'm walking around SG. (navvya)

Your focus may not be on the subject you are hoping for, 2. Your lens is dirty/foggy, 3. Your shutter speed might be too slow/low etc 1/80 so any slight movement would result in your photos being blurry, if your subject is moving, you need a higher shutterspeed etc 1/250 to freeze your subject, using a speedlight can achieve this effect too. (cyrus)

See if ure shaking first cos if ur hand shake and the shutter speed is slow then confirm ur photo will be blurry (that happened to me in sec school and half the photos i took for that event was blurry) (annette)

(brandy)

7, moderately tiring but is pretty fun too (cyrus)

5-9. it depends on what kind of event ure taking. for example, jan ori was super tiring and i took photos for all 5 days and i got like 4h of sleep the night before d-1 so thats confirm a 8-9. but if u take photos for homecoming, its pretty fun if the ppl ard u are fun like those who went for homecoming, we went to the photo booth to take photos, thats probably a 5. lastly, the 6-7 road race. road race was held at ocbc arena so i had to go all the way to stadium 🥲 before 8am. it was damn sunny so thats another factor to count, whether its indoors or outdoors, but thank god i brought my fan along. my uncle was there so it was q fun trying to find him in the crowd HAHAHAHA (annette)

7, but it can differ for each person, depending on how much workload you are willing to take during the cca (navvya)
