the friendly and safe environment of the school. please punish those who deserve it, and make sure all issues/problems between students will be resolved.

the facilities. since we live in the philippines, we'd prefer better utilities for our weather. though our classrooms are airconditioned, the outside is hot. and when it rains, the open area usually gets wet. more fans & umbrellas please!

more space for more students. our gym, for example. we'd like a bigger, better one.

improve: time management for the events and better coordination with the things to do for the students. sometimes it its very difficult to keep up in studies because of the countless events.

change: old facilities (the fact that we were promised an elevator and a new gym years ago)

Improve: The wifi. How time is managed in class.

Change: Renovate/polish old locations like the gym, and ect. New projector, please.

Improve: Facilities. I cannot stress this enough. For awhile, I've felt that SMC has been stuck in time for awhile. A lot of the things here have been the same since I enrolled here in 2014. I definitely think SMC needs to move some things around, but I have been noticing the changes and I'm glad :)

Change: Student Council Budget!! I've heard that the budget has been tight and with that budget they've still managed to produced quality events. so I would love to see what they could produce with an even larger budget.

Improve - Better facilities and internet.

Change - Nothing much.

• opportunities for students to put themselves out there and experience new things (debates, dialogues, etc)

• safe environment: kuyas ates & security!

improve/change:

• the facilities!! (HRM especially)

• focus on the student body & their voicing of opinion and active participation; school newspaper, community involvement, etc

• the guidance council officers & their dealing with students’ concerns

• the promotion of events and happenings in school on the social media pages of smc (while it has been improving, there is still a lack of exposure)

• catering to the number of students. although the goal is to grow the student body, there seems to be not enough staff, employees, nor functioning facilities.

Improve: Definitely something that appears in most of these answers: The facilities. Won't add more, just read the answers under this question :)

Change: The SED rule. I completely understand that SMC is a school that values international practices, however there is a problem that has become unbearable as someone who loves our country, it's culture, and languages. If you have no idea what I mean by this, look at our morning assemblies every Monday. If you were to listen closely to who and how many recite which pledges and anthems, it becomes evident that the royals are very familiar with the SMC pledge, mission and vision, and invocation. And yet, not so much for our national anthem and pledges..

I believe it is obvious why this is a problem, and so I wish to propose a solution: reform and change this policy. There is no need to abolish as I do see it's reason and usefulness, however, we should allow students to use their mother tongue during recess, lunch, and HR, while also implementing the policy in important academic situations like classes and presentations.
