I chose this part of the text to snap because I feel it is very important to the whole story. If there was never those ignorant kids who left their keys loose on a ride then Eddie would not be in this situation right now. The keys got lodged in the wire of the ride and every time the ride would go up and down the wire would cut little by little until we got to the point of the little girl falling off. The Death

Eddie was a very kind person on the inside you just had to be nice enough to get that side out of him. Eddie never thought that his life would be ended with one of his own rides, and I bet he never thought he'd be trying to save a complete stranger from death. Eddie put his life behind other to make sure the little girl was okay. Although Eddie might not have saver her life he still gave his to try to save hers.

Freedom

For the first time in 60 something years Eddie is running and feeling like a child again. He has no sense of emotion besides happiness. he doesn't feel any of his anger or sadness anymore and all he can do is live in the moment. For the first time in a very long time Eddie is happy and he is enjoying his time just like he used to, there are no people or obstacles to get in the way of him feeling free again.

I feel this is important to the story because it is the first time Eddie really realizes he's dead, before he got it but now he is truly wrapping around the fact that there is no coming back. The blue man had asked Eddie if he wanted to ride one of his childhood roller coasters but looking at it now it was far to scary and dangerous, the blue man explains that this is it, there is no looking down from the sky above as people presume heaven there snot much of a change in the world we are in but the people, that we see.

While Eddie was in the war him and his friends got captured by some people they called the crazes. They were forced to work in a mine in unhealthy conditions. Eddies friend Rabozzos began tom fall sick and was unable to complete the tasks the men wer asking for him, they continued to work him without care. Then as they are mining robozzos collapse and died after being over worked while sick as can be.

After eddie and his team escaped from the crazies they were on a path to getting home when they come to the barn. the entire barn went up in flames and eddie stated to imagine that he saw someone stuck in the barn. Eddie decided it would be a good idea to run in and try to save whoever was trapped before he could go milton grabbed him and told him they had to leave, but that wasn’t going to stop eddie so as he ran towards the barn eveytjing collapsed even if there was someone in there, there was no way of coming out.

I feel that this is one of the most important parts of the book. Eddie for years had no idea who he got shot by or if it was an accident all that he knew was that someone “ruined” his life. However when the captin admits to shooting his leg eddie freezes, there are so many thought going through his mind but he can’t get over the fact his own captin shot him until he explains that it was life or death for eddie, the captin knew the wound on his leg would heal and eddie could live life if he wouldn’t have shot eddie then and there he might not have ever come out.

This is the first time Eddie is seeing the other side of his father, Mickey was drunk and came to his wife upset, and for whatever reason grabbed her and pinned her against the wall and tried to rape her. As this is all going on her robe falls and Eddie's father came busting in through the door and threw mickey to the ground, when he went outside to finish Mickey off and he saw him drowning he decided to save him even after what he just tried to do with his wife.

This is really the point in time when Eddie realizes that he cannot be mad at everything thing and every person who has ever wronged him, you cannot move on to the next chapter of your life if you are still holding onto old grudges. Eddie at first thinks his dad was an idiot for saving Mickey from drowning but once he starts to listen to Ruby and open his eyes to the bigger picture he sees that his father isn't this big bad villain that he always thought of him as.

His Fathers Death

I think this part is very important and plays a big role in Eddie's life, he never liked his father and he never wanted to even speak to him again, but that was before he saw everything. After that night with Mickey and his wife he never spoke about it again and even when he fell I'll in the hospital he completely stopped talking in all, science was his escape but even thought he wasn't saying anything the thought in his head was something he could not get rid of. When the day came that his father fell into a coma Eddie began to feel guilty, as if he should be been there and he should be done more to try and get his father back into his life, but one night his father tried to get up and scream the names of his sons with what little voices eh had left, but then died right there on that window.

Eddie doesn't want to forgive his dad for all of the nasty things he has done but he wants to be able to move on with his life. He slowly realizes that his father was his biggest motivation of all, after he passed Eddie had a hard time achieving nearly anything, he didn't go anywhere he didn't do anything big with his life and her stated to have a very hard time. He thought he would have this big great life after his father passed but it seems that when he died a part of Eddie went with him that even he never knew he had.

Marguerite has beeen fighting a battle with cancer and seemed to be putting up a fairly good fight. But on these final few days cancer had taken control of her body. This is one of the most important moments in my opinion i feel that eddie has lost a part of himself and the death of his wife could be the reason he’s such a grumpy old man

He then began to hear the laughter and playing of children in the distance and he realized this is what he’s been having dreams about. Eddie dosnt know why but now he knows it’s been a kid haunting his dreams for reasons he cannot explain.

During the war after eddie and his team had escaped form the crazies they came across what they thought to be a whole hick of abandon huts. Once they were released they decided to burn down the huts to leave no trace and make sure they cannot come back here. While they set them on fire eddie thought he saw someone in the building, he ran as fast as he could but was yanked back by his captin he claimed there was no one and he wasn’t risking him losing his life for nothing. Turns out eddie wasn’t just seeing thing there was a little girl named tala who died in that fire and when he finds out who has been waiting for eddie ever since. He begins to get flashbacks and wishes he could’ve gone back and saved that little girl. But little did eddie know that the hands he felt when he was being brought to heaven were talas because she was the one who brought him here to come to peace.
