         <description><![CDATA[<div>The strategy I read about was the use of ten-frames in mathematical problems.&nbsp; The use of the ten-frame is not the sole source to aid in adding and subtracting up to 10.&nbsp; They also used a T-chart.&nbsp; The math problem&nbsp; was very interactive.&nbsp; The teacher, Mrs. Stevenson,&nbsp; had the students solve a word problem using real life situations.&nbsp; She then recorded data using a T-chart.&nbsp; She then recorded it as various ten-frame combinations.&nbsp; The students were able to think critically and use various ways to get the correct answer.&nbsp;(Hale)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In  "One Classroom, Many Learning Styles: Strategies for Teachers" I read about different ways to teach to the different styles of learning in the classroom. One way is the Universal Design for Learning (UDL).  The learning material is presented in different formats so every student is engaged.  Students are given the same assignment but the students can complete the assignment in a way that is easiest for them.  One student may make a speech, one may write it out on paper and one may create a play or movie.  Students are allowed to learn in their own style.  Another style is blended learning.  In this style the teacher teaches in front of the classroom but also has online instruction.  (Teaching Every Student,  2017</div>]]></description>
