In this picture I am doing a cartwheel. The main part of the brain being used is the motor cortex which is the part of the brain that helps your body plan and control movements. The thalamus is also a part of the brain, located in the temporal lobe, that helps your body with motor skills. The Cerebellum also is a part of the brain that is key for motor control.

The frontal lobes are responsible for many things. One thing they are responsible for is problem solving such as math problems. In this picture I am doing my math homework and saying the problems allowed to help me through it which is using a part of the frontal lobe called Brocas area which is the part of the brain responsible for forming sentences and processing them. The Hippocampus which is part of the temporal lobe is also being used because it is partially responsible for memory and by saying the problems aloud it is helping me learn to memorize them. The parietal lobe is also responsible for processing mathematics.

In this picture I am using the parietal lobe and the temporal lobe, both lobes have parts that are used to help process senses, in this case the sense being smell. The Thalamus is also a part of the brain being used because it also helps process senses such as smell. After smelling the flowers I sneezed, the medulla is a part of the brain that is responsible for involuntary movements and the pons links it to the cerebellum.

The temporal lobes are where the hypothalamus is located. The hypothalamus is the part of the brain that is mainly responsible for shutting it down when its time to go to sleep. While youre falling asleep the hypothalamus is helping you occipital lobes and parietal lobes come to reset and it stops those lobes from sending arousal signals.

In this picture I am watching a sad video on YouTube. My occipital lobe is responsible for vision and processing what my eyes are seeing. Another part of m brain being used in this case is the Amygdala part of the temporal lobe. The amygdala is a part of the brain that helps your process emotions and I am processing being sad while watching my video. I am also using the wernickes area of the temporal lobe to help me understand and comprehend what the video is saying because that part of the brain is responsible for speech comprehension.
