  Sadako opened her eyes,when she saw the gold paper,she asked Chizuko what it is.,then Chizuko folded the paper over and over into a beautiful crane and told her if she made one thousand cranes, she would get well.
  Sadako tried to make one crane with Chizuko's help.After making ten birds, Sadako lined them up on the  table.Then Chizuko left.
  That evening Masahiro came to see Sadako and promised he would hang every crane she made.Eiji and Mitsue like the golden crane very much.

  Sadako was very happy to receive this gift, she was laughing. It was the first day Sadako had laughed in days, it's a good sign.Perhaps the golden was beginning to work, Sadako folded the cranes.
