The impact of social media on mental health. Other people might see it as a stress management, support systems, and coping mechanisms. But for the other people, they handle cyberbullying, death threats, online harassments, and many more things. I believe that social media is a place where we could make a world an easier place. Especially with the artificial intelligence, social media apps. We will help each other by creating a safe environment for all of the people who is interested in social media. Because with the people who handle cyberbullying and the others mentioned, it could lead to depression.

ACADEMIC WRITING:

WHY IS SLEEPING IMPORTANT?

Sleeping is very important because so that we can have enough rest and energy when we are doing something like school activities, sports, reading, and many more. It helps our brain get more active and productive when we get alot of rest. What happens if we dont get enough rest or we sleep a little too late? If we dont sleep on the right time we can get exhausted or tired and sometimes we dont have the energy to do what we need to do in school or at home. It also affects our mental health, We can get sick or ill if we dont sleep early everyday. So i recommed that we sleep on the right time and make some schedules so we wont always stay up late doing activities or other things we need to do.

It is the 13th century, and late medieval Europe is having some technical issues. Especially for France and England. Let me start.

It was the end of april 1337, and a king named Phillip of France was invited to attend a delegation on England about some fedual disputes over the Dutch of Aquitaine but refused. That made off King Charles IV mad and thus called as mortal enemy. And as king Charles died King Edward became king of England through the right of his mother isabela. He challenged th throne of France and then...... It all started

  The Edwardian wars

On June 22 1340, Edward sailed a fleet from England and landed off the coast of zwin. And with some misleading tactics the French thought the English are with drawing. And with a little help from the weather the English attacked the French fleet and almost decimated it and thus was called the battle of sluys. We'll after that the English is making progress on west of France with raids and seige and Edward has attacked northern France mainly normndy. And we'll that is until. The Battle of Crecy.

Well before that Edward raided villages and captured Caen a French city in one day. After hearing this, Philip Mustered an army...Well a very large army and headed to the low countries (you know that Netherlands, Belgium and such.

Edward positioned his army already and his longbow men is his back bone. The French arrived exausted, despite the English outnumbered they defeated the French whom King Philip is already struggling to manuever. And let's just say, it was a complete disastrous bloody battle for the French.

And the Edward Ian wars continued with battle of the neviiles cross, the besieging of calais, battle of poitiers with a help from the black death, Edward also failed 2 times and on his third time, well he badly wants the French crown, and so he went and did some battles like the battle of bretigny, seige of Reims which was a cathedral and after that both French and English is pretty badly tired off. and thus the first peace has been made..

PS: teacher said short paragraph so I'll stop here it will get going cause it is 116 years of war if you want for me to continue please tell me.

Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art. In just over a decade, he created approximately 2,100 paintings, including 860 oil paintings, most of them in the last two years of his life. His oeuvre includes landscapes, still lifes, portraits, and self-portraits, most of which involving his signature brushwork, and bold colors that contributed to the rise of expressionism in modern art. Van Gogh (like any artists) suffered from psychotic episodes and delusions. He worried about his mental stability, and often neglected his physical health, did not eat properly, and drank heavily. His friendship with Gaugin ended after a confrontation with a razor, in rage, he mutilated his left ear.

Faith is weird, it is like stepping into a odd dimension where the rules are different and your not sure if the one above is real. At first, believing in God feels kinda trippy, like you're trying to grab smoke with your hands. It's unfamiliar, awkward even. But then, slowly, the weirdness turns into wonder. You start seeing patterns in chaos, purpose in the chaos of life. It's like learning a secret language that only you and God can understand. Next thing you know, you're dancing in the weirdness, and it feels like home.

CREATIVE WRITING:

THE ANCIENT TREE

There once was an oak tree, inside an orphanage garden. Many children sat on the roots of the tree to take shade from the sun or to eat fruits from the kitchen. The tree loved the children very well. Sometimes, the children would even talk to the tree. Although it couldn't respond, it would always listen. Years passed and the children that used to sit under the tree soon grew. Then they became adults, and had to leave the orphanage. When they left the orphanage, they forgot their memories under the tree. The tree became sad. Soon the tree became ill. All it leaves became dry, then the leaves started to fall. The tree then died. The caretakers of the garden deemed the tree too ugly to show anymore, so they cut it down. When the children who had memories with the tree learned of the tree being cut, they mourned deeply, but they knew that the tree they loved will never be forgotten.

Apart from the school itself, the facilitators and my co-learners were very friendly as I thought. Their helping hands are always ready whenever each one of us needs them and they’re welcoming to everyone regardless of our flaws. What captivates me is their Non-Graded System. Instead of grades we use OK, CM, and TAT for our scores and this school takes education to a whole new level. Education is focused not on numbers and letters, but on your self mastery and learning pace.

How Music Affects Mood

Ah, music! It has always been a delightful companion for many of us. You see, from the old man sitting on his porch to the bustling market place filled with hawkers, music has a way of weaving itself into the fabric of our lives, influencing our moods in ways we might not even realize.

Psychologists, those keen observers of human nature, tell us that music speaks directly to that part of our brain known as the limbic system—a fancy term for the emotional control room. Depending on whether it’s a lively tune or a gentle lullaby, music can usher in a wave of feelings, from exuberant joy to a tinge of melancholy. Think about it: That peppy pop song can have you dancing around the house, while a slow, soothing melody might make you curl up with a cup of tea and ponder the mysteries of life. Isn’t it marvelous how music can alter our emotional landscape?

Now here’s the fun part—music seems to have a direct line to those feel-good chemicals in our brains, such as dopamine and serotonin, the friendly fellows associated with pleasure and contentment. Imagine listening to your favorite song; it’s like a warm hug for your heart, making you feel lighter, more focused, and perhaps even pushing away the shadows of anxiety and gloom. But, and here’s where it gets interesting, if you stumble upon some dissonant notes or jarring rhythms, that might just create a knot in your stomach instead. No wonder some clever folks use music therapy to help people face their feelings, heal from past wounds, and march towards brighter mental health.

But wait, there’s more! The situation and the intention behind the music also play a pivotal role. Take, for instance, the background music serenading you in a shop—curated with care to coax you into feeling at ease enough to spend a little extra. Or the stirring score in a movie, designed to pull on your heartstrings just when the plot thickens. And let’s not forget about our own little personal playlists! These often reflect what we need at that moment, whether to boost our spirits or to sink into a reflective mood. It appears that music is not just an escape; it’s also a handy tool for managing our emotions every day.

To wrap things up, the way music influences our moods is a fascinating blend of psychology, brain chemistry, and culture. Whether we turn to it for joy, expression, or healing, music remains a wonderfully powerful medium to shape our feelings. By paying attention to how different tunes affect us, we can make wiser choices about the sounds we let into our lives, ultimately enriching our emotional well-being. So next time you hear a melody wafting through the air, take a moment to really listen—it might have something lovely to say.

Facts or Feelings?

Facts form the basis of knowledge because they provide an objective measure in a world that often remains subjective. Arguments rest upon facts c and that are what usually differentiate credible claims from those based on sheer speculation. But they do so infrequently by themselves; typically, human response is mediated primarily through the interpretation of these facts and charged through personal or collective emotional lenses. Climate data, for example, makes communities willing to act due to the same urgency, fear or moral imperatives.

The Cliff (Horror Story - Creative Writing)

A story or a theory, or maybe a myth — people claimed to hear a woman's haunting high pitched cry for help at the bottom of a shallow cliff, and those who heard it — disappears without a trace. The cliff was a popular hiking spot people go to, yet rumors whispered that a woman's shadow follows you during broad daylight when no was standing there. TJ was a new guard in that area but he didn't believe any of the stories — until one cold, dark night, he heard the cry and he knelt down to look, but then he felt a shove. Falling, he looked up and saw a woman smiling at him creepily with bloodshot eyes and somehow the silence was more terrifying than the fall.

How does worry feels like

worry feels like a heavy backpack that you can’t take it off easily. Worry is full of “ what if?” the world is big but some people live in that small place that is full of “ what if? “I wake up with worry already in my brain. Even if I try to ignoring it just gets louder, but if we talk to someone that you really trust it gets smaller not gone. Yes worry is annoying but everyone has it and that is normal. Our feelings are always tworry even if we didn’t tried yet, Worry thinks it will protect you and help you, but it’s not, it is just making us weak. We can sometimes be worry but not all the time we also need to learn how to be strong not being always worried, because if your always worried then when will we learn? Even if it’s hard we can do it. Always trust yourself and always stay strong.

I can never forget

- Ah, i can never forget the first time i stepped foot into UST Angelicum College it felt magical like walking into a place where time slows down, letting your dreams breathe. In the Morning sunrise light spills over the wall and roofs, making the campus a warm enviroment that makes every morning worth to wake up for. Through the hallways talking drifts through like wind, blending with the quiet rustle of pages in the libary, as if knowledge itself hums in the air. Behind all the tasks and assignments, friendships take root, growing as steadily as the walls around us that stood through so many years. And when the day ends the sigh of relief comes out, the sun shining and the hallways packed with learners.

Reviewing before a test is super helpful for a bunch of reasons. First, it helps you remember things better because going over the notes again makes the information stick in your brain. The more you see it, the easier it is to remember during the test. Second, it shows you what you don’t understand yet, so you can go back and study those parts instead of just guessing. It also makes you feel more confident because you already know what to expect. Another thing is that it can improve your test performance—practicing with old questions, quizzes, or making your own summaries can help you answer faster and more correctly. Plus, reviewing can reduce stress since you’ll feel more prepared and not panic during the test. Basically, the more you review, the better your chances are of doing well.

Jellyfishes are invertebrate sea creatures found only in the deepest parts of our oceans across the world. They are mainly free-swimmers, but some species could be anchored to the seabad instead of being mobile. A jellyfish is made up of an umbrella-shaped body—also known as mesoglea—with groups of trailing tentacles on its underside, and stingers called 'nematocysts'. From its invertebrate classification, Cnidaria, this creature's stinging cells are called cnidocytes. What makes these creatures so essential to the underwater ecosystem is that they are highly involved in many food chains; by feeding on smaller organisms, jellyfish help in controlling the populations of other species and maintance the ecosystem's balance.

A few interesting facts about these beautiful yet dangerous sea animals is that they do not have brain, hearts, or lungs. Jellyfishes are simple creatures, composed of only 3 yet very important layers.

Jellyfishes are made up of 95% water. This is why they look different compared to being in the water and out of it.

Lastly, they have hydrostatic skeletons. Rather than one composed of bones, their bells—or mesoglea—contain fluid and circular muscles. If they wish to move around, they can navigate around the ocean by contracting their muscles and releasing water in the opposite direction of where they are headed.

Jellyfishes, while they can be seen in all places of the world, are slowly losing their number in population. An example of the rarest species so far is the Chirodectes maculatus, also known as the spotted box jellyfish. It's an extremely rare box jellyfish found in the Western Central Pacific. This species has only ever been seen twice, once in 1997 and again in 2022.

Since most cats use litterboxes, the owners dont have to bring them outside to relieve themselves. They also do a good job of cleaning themselves regularly, making it convenient for the owner—reducing the need for constant baths. Lastly, cats are quiet animals, making them suitable for shared homes like apartments. For these reasons, cats remain a popular choice for pet owners.

It plays a big part in how they grow mentally and even in how they get along with other people. In a kid’s mind, the simplest thing can turn into something crazy — like a blanket becoming a magic carpet that takes them to Disneyland, or an invisible cloak that would hide them from eating bitter gourd on a Saturday lunch with Mom and Dad. Funny as it seems, these ideas help them practice solving problems in their own way. Playing pretend indeed, makes them think about real-life situations and practice their social skills and decision making. Sometimes, yes, daydreaming too much can make them lose focus, especially in class. But at the end of the day, it still has a lot of good things to offer. Surely, imagination is one of the best tools a child has for learning and growing.

But it can also cause harm to us. When we stay on our gadgets all day, we get exhausted. We should at least get some rest because as mentioned earlier, it can harm us like straining our eyes, blurring our vision and even increasing our anxiety. This is why it would be better if we put a limit on the usage of our devices. 2-4 hours a day is the recommended screen time according to a trusted health website.

It's all nature, and to be honest, it's so lively. The only problem is the people, some people litter around, cut down trees, and pollute the air, which is wrong because they don't think about the animals. It's kind of sad that people mess up nature. The good news is that we are able to save Nature by picking up trash, planting, or just not littering around it would make a huge difference. We should take care of nature like how our parents take care of us.

Creative Writing

Title: Seven Minutes

Kiro:

March 22, 2025

Dear Diary,
They say, after death, the human brain remains active and replays seven minutes of your life. I am not quite sure why I decided to write about this just now, even though this happened one year ago.

Kiro is a girl that people describe to be perfect. She is very well-known at their school, and everyone admired her. She is often referred to as Magnolia or Lacy by her friends which apparently means, "perfect".

Kiro always did her best whether it was in academics, events, and extra-curricular. She wasn't perfect, but she was quite the perfectionist. Even just a little mistake would bother her a lot.

Everything was going so well so far, until one day in February, her teacher assigned a big project that was worth a big part of their grade. She was very stressed with that project since she was the leader of the whole thing. She did everything that there was to do.

Along with the project came many more tasks, quizzes and exams and she felt like she couldn't handle anything more. She felt so much stress and pressure from everyone around her. And she wanted the weight to go away.

A few weeks have passed, and Kiro got everything done. Her mind was clear, she had no responsibilities, and everything was up for checking and grading. She was very confident that all her tasks, quizzes, and exams were fine since she took all her time thinking, studying, and researching. She got all A+'s on all her tests, except one test.

The test had one mistake, and since Kiro was a perfectionist, she could not accept it. She felt like a failure.

That's when she started overthinking every little detail about her life. Overthinking if she was enough, overthinking her whole existence. All because of one mistake on a test.

Because of that, she took her own life. But that's when she felt like her whole world was rewinding in seven minutes. In those seven minutes, she saw all the good memories she had with her family, her friends, all the experiences that she had in her life, even a glance of the experiences that she was supposed to have in the future.

That's when a bright light shined upon her. The light spoke to her in a deep and big voice. The light asked her a question, He asked — “Kiro, are you sure about your decision? Do you want to leave the world?”. “I don't know what else to do, I just can't accept it.” Kiro answered. “I cannot just let you live your life until this chapter. I have so many things in store for you” The light said.

"But I feel all alone." Kiro murmured.

Then the light showed her flashes of her life and with each scene she noticed two shadows walking. It was her and the bright light walking hand in hand.

And with each time a turmoil in her life flashes. She noticed just one shadow walking.

Kiro asked the bright beautiful light about it.

"May I ask, I noticed during the hardships and the times that I am down and in misery. Why is there only one shadow walking on?

The light answered," My dear child during those times that you feel all alone and weary, times when you felt left behind. And thought that I am letting you walk all alone; It was then that I am carrying you. And we are casting one shadow on the road."

Kiro did not answer back because she knew that what she did was wrong. She realized that she was talking to Yahweh.

Kiro apologized to Yahweh for what she did and ask for forgiveness, and told Him that she wanted to continue His plan for her.

Fast forwarding to Kiro's life after what happened, she learned to accept her mistakes and learned from them. Everday she would dedicate time to thank Yahweh for the second chance to live. She also learned not to keep all her problems bottled up to herself.

~ THE END ~

Life never felt real. I was always the perfect kid. I had the best scores and never get in trouble— I felt like I was stuck in the same day over and over again. Then one morning, as I was going to school someone approached me and whispered “Doesn't this feel l familiar? you’re not real” then he walked away. As he was walking away— he disappeared. I couldn’t see him anymore, as if he was a ghost that vanished right in-front of me. That sticked with me the whole day. That same night, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t stop thinking about him, then I heard a voice. It was someone’s voice, but I couldn’t recognize who it was, but it was familiar— “I don’t know what to write anymore, should I just end the story?” I slept in discomfort, the words kept recalling inside my mind. The words never left my mind, I told my mom about it as it kept bothering me, I looked at my mom’s reaction and her smile faltered for a split second. What is going on? I thought to myself. I brushed it off and just went to school. On the way to school, I just kept thinking about the man, the voice, and my mom’s reaction. What feels familiar? Why did my mom react like that? Whose story are they going to end? I tried not to think about it any further. While waiting for the next subject, I slept as I did not get enough sleep because my mind kept bothering me. I woke up in the library. What am I doing here? There was a book in-front of me, “The Blessed Girl” I read the title. The story was so familiar. Too familiar. And then it hit me, all this time— the feeling of being unreal, rehearsed, is because I am not real… I was a Character. Why am I feeling this now? Why is it all suddenly hitting me? Why am I just realizing all of this? Is it because it’s the end of my story?

She was buying groceries at a local market. Aoi's Groceries and Goods. Ei was shopping happily until someone bumped into her. It was her son whom she had abandoned years ago, her smile dissapeared. Kunikuzushi or Kuni for short seemed shocked, petrified even. "....Ei." Kuni said. Ei looked heartbroken. She had expected Kuni to atleast call her mother, but all she was given was her very son calling her by her first name. "Kuni. What brings you to the market...?" She said awkwardly. Kuni looked enraged. "...THATS ALL YOU'RE GOING TO SAY TO ME AFTER YOU CREATED ME, AFTER YOU ABANDONED ME?!" He said enraged. Ei stumbled back as if slapped. "Kuni no. I left you because I WANTED YOU to have a life of your own, to make choices of your own. I love you son and I'm sorry that you feel that way. I'm sorry I hadn't gave you a proper farewell." Ei said, her eyes filled with emotion. Kuni seemed to calm down just a bit. Yet he held back his anger. "...I've never actually thought of it that way..." He said. Ei gave him an understanding look "I understand. Sometimes, our emotions really can consume our mind. Sometimes even our soul." Kuni looked puzzled yet, a small part of him wanted to lean in and hug his mother, yearning for connection. "Why did you create me...Mother. I want to know, why was my purpose and why did you... Why did you decide to send me off?..." Ei hugged Kuni tightly, "Because, my son. I wanted you to have a life of your own. A life I couldn't give you. And it seems you have it. Everytime you feel happy, everytime you love being alive. That's me, loving you and loving being with you, through the heart. I know the damage I've done can't be fixed. So now my son, I am here to fix those cracks with you. To be a mother that YOU deserve. So, will you give me a chance to be your mother Kuni...?" She asked, her eyes filled with hope, her heart filled with motherly love. Kuni bursted out in tears. "Of course... Mother. I'm willing to give you a second chance. So we can be... Together again."

Space is so fascinating. We have black holes, where nothing, not even light, can escape from. Countless stars which differ drastically in size and the heat and light they emit.

Numerous types of planets, some even completely different from Earth. We don’t even know everything about the planets in our own solar system, let alone the whole galaxy.

We have nebulae, which are like sparkly clouds where stars are born. Supernovae that are stellar explosions usually marking the end of a massive stars life.

All of these things are unique in their own ways, yet have one thing in common: they are all incredible wonders. I don’t know everything about space, but that just makes me more curious to learn about it.

also fun fact: did you know there is a celestial object called ‘j1407b’ or more commonly called, ‘super saturn’ that has a massive ring system?? so kewl 😛

Grass is green because of the presence of chlorophyll in the leaves. this pigment absorbs a certain color of light, but sometimes grass is different colors. the reason for this is because of how it either doesn’t gain enough sunlight or enough nutrients from the soil. Grass also needs photosynthesis to appear green and when its green it is healthy, but other colors may also be as healthy but most grass appears green.

Why do people like milk. Milk tastes so bad I dont know how people drink it. It doesn't even make you taller. I don't know who said it does but that's a lie because I've been drinking milk since I was a baby and I'm still the same height as I was 5 years ago. Milk is a lie and I feel bad for everyone else who's fallen for it. I feel bad for short people.
