For example in one of the articles someone said ,'' I accomplished many things in girl scouts but my accomplishments were not recognized because i am a girl.'' According to this statement this is one way that girls do not get as recognized as boys. Another reason i think girls want to join boy scouts is that girls mainly just sell cookies and do boring things like making bracelets or flyers. Maybe girls want to do things that boys do such as fishing or learning how to do outdoor things.
