In Britain people used to make a fire in the middle of the room with wood whereas the Romans use central heating to make every foot step you take will be warm.The effect today is we don't have to go outside to burn our wood we just can turn on a radiator.

The Romans developed a variety of waterworks that we use today. They were the first to use, central heating to keep there houses warm; sewage works to spate their clean and dirty water and toilets to get rid of their waste rather than having it in their gardens. This has impacted us in 2018 because we all have fully functioning sewage systems that help us to maintain healthy and clean lifestyles.
