Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone is a fantasy/fiction movie created in 2001. It has three main characters called Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. It starts off with Harry living with his muggle Aunt, Uncle and Cousin. He was lied to his whole life, thinking that his parents died in a car crash, until Hagrid, the big hairy (half) giant came and kicked down the door of the lighthouse they were staying at and informed him that they were actually murdered by the evil wizard Voldemort. Hagrid then takes him into the world of Magic for him to become a young wizard at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which is where he meets his (first) two friends, Hermione and Ronald, Where they go on all different kind of adventures.

https://www.theguardian.com/childrens-books-site/2015/mar/01/review-j-k-rowling-harry-potter-philosophers-stone

Kira Kelley.

Turning a well loved Disney film in to a beautiful modernized flood of nostalgia that we all know and love. Fear not, the story is mostly

untouched, whilst making room for the computer generated genius of are time all are favorite characters are given the detail they deserve. With Billy Eichner as Timon and Seth Rogen as Pumba we are likely in store for some very comedic moments. Although this film may not be completely identical to its predecessor as long as your going in for a fun modernised Lion King you’ll enjoy it if you want the old Lion King however, you may be disappointed, it’s still definitely one to watch at least once.

MY review on Ghost album Meliora The creater of the lyrics is Tobias ForgeThe background to the album is about Satan which is the bands subject which they tend to sing about this album was their 3rd and in my opinion the best they had done at the time through I think the new albums like prequel [2018] and seven inches of 🤬 panic [2019] are really good. Through the reason they pretend to be Satan worshippers is because they are in a way taking the 🤬 out of religion and the pope. The main singer dresses as a pope and changes characters through each album. I understand why they are taking the 🤬 but don’t have an opinion on the subject. Also the genre is metal and rock. Something I find interesting is this isn’t really a band any more because after going to court with his band mates Tobias Forge said the other members were more for show and he was in charge of everything. It was a shame the band mates were greedy and wanted more money but in a way I’m glad to hear more interviews with him since he would play different characters to do interviews. This character from what I read was called special ghoul which is what the fans named him. Which again is why I love this band because they include their audience and put on a show.Id say some of the best songs on the album are Circe which is a name for Satan which I think is cleverFrom the pinnacle to the pit this song is very catchy and has a good beat.He is And majesty which is my all-time favourite on the album but that’s more because of nostalgia. Through still very good. Through as good as the music is I doubt people with taste for pop will like this which is understandable but a shame. But id defiantly recommend it.My rating is a 5 out of 5 it is a great album with very interesting lyrics by cree

From 'Fun House' to 'F***ing Perfect' are some powerful songs. 'F**ing Perfect' has some deep meaning of image imperfection's also with the song 'Don't let me get me' to 'Fun house' from a divorcing husband and being a little bit crazy and playful.

The question is, has she developed much further from her current album? Of course she has! With her new song 'Walk me home' which is an emotional song about wanting to just go home. To 'Happy' a emotional song about her past to 'Hurts 2B Human' featuring khalid as it states in the title.

Pink is a creative and talented in her music, on stage , who has been but down by other listening by being to truthful and deep or just doesn't like pop rock within her music.

A dysfunctional family consisting of the Father George Banks (David Tomlinson), Mother Winnifred Bank (Glynis Jones) and their two children Jane (Karen Dotrice) and Michael (Matthew Garber) requires the help of Mary Poppins (Julie Andrews) to help them to learn to love each other and live as a happy family once again.

With the help of Bert played by Dick Van Dyke, Mary Poppins and the Banks Children embark on many adventures all around Edwardian London and with the help of some cheerful, toe tapping songs that will have you singing at the top of your voice ( and to yourself when you think no one is listening) learn some important life lessons.

The only bad part to this film is the unfortunate cockney accent of Dick Van Dyke but other that that the film is fun for all the family and the kids will have you singing along for hours on end.

The directors of this fantastic movie are Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders. This movie was released in the year 2010 and the first movie of a trilogy, it played a large part in my personal childhood and most other people my age. It falls under the genre of family, fantasy, adventure and animation.
To my surprise and uttermost joy it turns out the movie was based on a book series written by Cressida Cowell. So fans of this movie have more of the fantasy universe to explore in their free time.
The movie is about a boy named Hiccup who is the son of the village chief , the story is placed in a viking village named Berk. Young Hiccup dreams to be a dragon killer just like his father until he actually comes face to face with the most deadly of all dragons "The unholy offspring of lighting and death itself." a night fury. The story follows how their relationship grows and how a bond between the two is created and the struggles they go through to keep their secret safe.
This is one of the only movies to make me cry, it is just breathtaking, the animations, the music by John Powell and the fantastic story of a son trying to live up to his fathers expectations. Is this not a story we can all sympathize if not relate to? In my opinion this is a 5 star family movie for kids that even adults can enjoy.
Keep an eye out for the series on Netflix AND two other movies to enjoy!

The film was dirrected by Ridley Scott.
The film is about a manned mission to mars but after a disaster an astronaunt called Mark watney (played by Matt Damon) will have to struggle to survive after being left behind as his fellow crew believed for him to be lost.

This film is filled with so much emotion during moments of the film from when the disaster occured to seeing the emotional impact on the rest of the crew on the relisation of what occured.
We get to see the traumatic stress of the realisation of mark all alone on this barron planet. That sense of being all alone, the effort he takes to survive day by day and the mental effects that is causes.

The film shows the relisation of NASA finding out that he still alive and what they must do to rescue him. They must hurry however as time is ticky by.

I would give this film a 5/5 for the humanity story of hardship and rescue. I would recomend this for people to watch even if they haven't any knowledge of space.

Review: ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ by Dina Wynne Jones

The first time I was introduced to ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ was back in 2006, when I was in my second year at secondary school, and let me begin by saying that this was one of the best decisions I have ever made. In 2006 I was still a baby faced 12 year old who new nothing of the outside world and never was I more happy to discover the wonders of Japanese animations, known to most as anime to most of my fellow nerds, especially the magical known as studio ghibli. Your most likely wondering what is studio ghibli? But worry not dear readers for I will make this easier for you.

Think of studio ghibli as the Japanese version of Disney but with more original stories and with leading ladies that don’t need a prince charming to save the day. ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ wasn’t my first ghibli movie, I save that right for ‘Spirited Away’, but it was the first movie where I became completely enchanted by the story as well as the characters. It was the kind of animation where you could picture these characters coming to life off the screen of the tv.

I spent hours pouring over every single detail of the movie before my attention drifted to research every detail behind the work and that was how I discovered that not was ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ a beautiful adventurous animation but it was originally a book by a Welsh author, Diana Wynne Jones.

Ii honestly couldn’t help myself by this point, most people had Harry Potter but ‘Howl’s Moving Castle’ was my thing and I was going to do everything in my power to get that book. I was pleasantly surprised mind you when my mother beat me to the punchline and bought it me as a gift.

From the words of the cover to the words of the summary on the back…..

“Sophie has the great misfortune of being the eldest of three daughters, destined to fail miserably should she ever leave home to seek her fate. But when she unwittingly attracts the ire of the Witch of the Waste, Sophie finds herself under a horrid spell that transforms her into an old lady. Her only chance at breaking it lies in the ever-moving castle in the hills: the Wizard Howl's castle. To untangle the enchantment, Sophie must handle the heartless Howl, strike a bargain with a fire demon, and meet the Witch of the Waste head-on. Along the way, she discovers that there's far more to Howl—and herself—than first meets the eye.”

With every word I read in that book never had I been so filled with wonder and honestly I was amazed at how completely different the book was compared to the animation. Sophie, our leading lady was so sweet and accepting yet headstrong in the animation but in the book she was a cursed woman with a wild streak and sass with every word out of her mouth.
