I am a 17 year old student, well actually 16 but I turn 17 this December 27! Anyways I am a student in Ateneo de Davao Senior Highschool and you can call me by any of name but I prefer to be called Iban!

I am a huge fan of video games, especially the one game I am currently grinding against, which is Fortnite. I am different from the usual casual player of these types of video games; I have competed and played professionally in some of these games, most notably Fortnite and Valorant. My cousin introduced me to video games when I was 4 years old, and that's why I am so attached to some of these games. I might even be playing right now as I type this.

It may be a big surprise, but YES! I am an ONCE! I started to like twice during their "Yes or Yes" Era. I was not expecting to like K Pop, but since I saw Chaeyoung (My bias) perform, I instantly found them entertaining. After 8 years of being a Once, I have collected many of their albums and realized that their music and their just being them makes me happy.

Now, on the topic of music groups, here is a group that I genuinely love and appreciate—the OPM Group IV of Spades. I can never go out and not listen to one of their songs. Their songs are just something else; it's a feeling that I cannot explain. They are why I wanted to learn how to play the guitar again, specifically Blaster Silonga, their lead guitarist. Another reason why I love their songs is because of Blaster's solos; a notable one would be in their song "Mundo." It was the first solo I learned after receiving an electric guitar for Christmas.

YES! I do watch K Drama! Mainly because my significant other wants to watch it with me! I enjoyed this one. It's called Our Beautiful Summer, and this might be my top K Drama next to Reply 1988 and Queen Of Tears; I highly recommend Reply 1988.

And, of course, I have to include the anime I first watched on our old laptop. Dragon Ball was my childhood; waking up early in the morning just to watch an episode of this show was always part of my and my dad's morning routine. If not on the TV, we would watch older episodes on our old laptop. This anime had me screaming at the top of my lungs, trying to transform into a Super Saiyan. They had me shouting every move I made, especially the iconic Kamehameha of Goku!!

Why do I like these media?

I like this media because it makes me feel at peace or comforts me somehow; an example would be me listening to Twice. Their music makes me happy because of the beat, and in the same way, some of their music makes me feel a little down. Some of these media make me feel like a kid again, especially when collecting cars and Funko Pops.

How are these media influencing or affecting me? (my lifestyle, aspirations, attitudes, behavior). Is this healthy? If yes, how come? If not, what steps should you take to change it?

They have a good influence on me; they have helped me throughout my childhood and made me think that I could become a Super Saiyan and catch real Pokémon, basically saying that they sharpened my imagination. They made me the person I am today.
