His cousin is making up the labors and that is a big problem because his cousin hates him and he is going to do what he can to get Hercules killed.
Theme: The author wants us to learn that if people work together than they can get through anything. I know because Athena and Hercules used teamwork to do the 12 labors, but before Athena could come and help Hercules he was being pulled by his feet by the hydra. By using teamwork Athena and Hercules formed a plan to stop the hydra.
Quote: My favorite quote is when Athena thought to herself, "Now that she was getting to know him, she was glad to have an excuse to keep an eye on him!" I like this quote because it shows that she is not like her dad and she does not judge others before she meets them.
Liked:I liked this book because it has a lot of Greek mythology that ends up having the same conclusions but not the same ways they got there. I also like that some of the characters are relate able in real life.
