         <description><![CDATA[<div>A member of the National Business Aviation Association and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Doug Strangfeld leverages more than 40 years of aviation industry experience to serve as the chief operating officer and director of operations at International Jet Aviation Services, a private jet charter and air services company based in Englewood, CO. In this role, he oversees flight and maintenance departments, including aircraft maintenance on Gulfstream G650 and G200, Falcon 900, and Citation X. Doug Strangfeld is also an LR-Jet and LR60 Type Rating Airline Transport Pilot who serves as the company's pilot-in-command.<br><br>Before joining International Jet Aviation Services in 2011, Doug Strangfeld worked for 17 years as the vice president of manufacturing at Sunward Corporation, a pre-engineered steel fabrication business in Denver. He managed its aviation department, which included oversight of maintenance and flight operations for single-engine Cessna's, Piper Super Cub, and Lear 20/30 series.<br><br>Doug Strangfeld worked 12 years at the Englewood, CO-based International Jet Aviation Services before joining Sunward, where he rose from an airframe and power plant mechanic to vice president of maintenance. He simultaneously served as the president of Delta Alpha Sierra, an aircraft import and export company, for nine years. He began his career as a production test flight mechanic on 425 and 441 aircraft at Cessna Aircraft Wallace Division.<br><br></div>]]></description>
