Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was an Irish playwright, poet and author of numerous short stories and one novel. Known for his biting wit, and a plentitude of aphorisms, he became one of the most successful playwrights of the late Victorian era in London, and one of the greatest celebrities of his day. Several of his plays continue to be widely performed, especially The Importance of Being Earnest.

The following picture is an artist depicting Dr. Jekyll (left) and Mr. Hyde (right). The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is a novel written by Robert Louis Stevenson. It basically tells the story of two men sharing one body. While Dorian doesn't have two different beings living inside him at once, the drastic personality change from chapter 1 Dorian and Final chapter Dorian reminds me of the day and night difference between Jekyll and Hyde

Before I came to this school, I attended Collinsville Christian Academy. My English teacher there Randall Sims recommend this book to me last year. During the summer, he was in a fatal car accident and he is longer on this Earth. As the last book he recommended to me this book obviously has a special place in my heart.
