בדגם שבזמן ההתפרצות ניתן לראות את הלבה נוזלת מהר הגעש, ואת אבני הבזלת המצטברים מסביב ו'רומסים' את הצמחייה. בנוסף ניתן לראות ענן אפר וולקני גדול היוצא מהר הגעש ונע עם הרוח.
בדגם שלאחר ההתפרצות ניתן לאמוד את הנזקים, ניתן לראות שענן האפר ממשיך לנוע, שאין פגיעה ביישוב ובנחל אך ישנה פגיעה בצמחייה ובהרים שמסביב.
