the cartoon is talking about global warming. the earth is getting to hot that there will be no more snow. so there will be no neighborhood kid shoveling snow anymore

The setting of the cartoon is a museum. There is a sign that says "Extinct species" and there are dinosaur skeletons behind. There is also a kid in a glass case with a snow shovel which represents how kids are no longer doing physical work outside.

This cartoon could have a double meaning. One could be talking about global warming, and since is not cold enough to have snow there would be no need of a kid who shovels snow. The other meaning could be that society has change so much that people do no do nice things for others.
