Kamkwamba was born in Malawi, a country often plagued by drought and hunger, he built a windmill to bring electricity to his family’s home, he was considered to be crazy, and not capable for this, but his curiosity and ambition were his only weapon to fight and succeed.
using spare parts, old textbooks, scrap metal, and a lot of determination he succeeded to build the windmill.
after that he built a solar-powered water pump to supply drinking water in his village
and two other wind turbines.
he became very famous when the news about the windmill broke, he gained global recognition.
till now he is working on building an innovation center in his village to empower young people to solve local problems.
note: " the boy who harnessed the wind"- is a british drama film, the film is based on the true story of william kamkwamba-very recommended to watch!!

15 years later, a former sporting director in Maccabi haifa told zahi about the offer of the italian team. 

Zahi had also played for the Israel National Football Team for 4 years and scored 10 goals in 28 games.
