I loved this book because of the way Dr. Seuss wrote it. Just like any Dr. Seuss book, it was filled with rhymes and made up words. This type of writing had me laughing at every page. This combination of genres was what I loved about Magic Tree House novels. One of my favorite things about these books was how Jack and Annie time traveled. I loved the diverse personalities of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Although very different, they became great friends throughout the series and stayed together through thick and thin. Alex Rider, one of my favorite protagonists, is very determined. Although he's just a young spy, he doesn't let anything get in the way of completing the mission. Auggie is a 10 year old boy who has a facial defect. He's been home schooled all his life, but in 5th grade, his parents decide he should go to a real school. What makes me love Auggie so much is how he copes with his first year in a public school. He's bullied and left out because of his appearance.
