James Wilson was very adamant towards the constitution. He was the one f the main leaders for ratifying the constitution in his state of Pennsylvania. Wilson's influence for ratifying the constitution was second only to James Madison and was a major factor. This was the Apex of his career. Wilson tried his hardest here because in 1776 Pennsylvania made a constitution and he wanted to reverse that one.

So Funny story, James Wilson Wrote the 3/5 compromise and the 3/5 compromise was something to woo over the southern states who had slaves because they wanted to have their slaves counted as more votes but most of them didn't agree with that so Wilson wrote this compromise and then e was starting have doubts about his own plan but it worked so they went with it.Now was Wilson in support of the Connecticut compromise Heck no he wasn't. The Connecticut Compromise also called the great compromise is what we see now in our government today with it being a bi cam-real congress with the senate and the house. Now Wilson didn't like it because he thought a minority could rule out a majority which is not true.

The current issue I picked for Wilson would be immigration. Since he was a immigrant himself I think he would be for immigration. So back then, Scottish culture was banned so the Scots kinda hated the British and I'm assuming he might have been discriminated against so he knows how it feels.

I would say James Wilson was very influential. He lead the ratification in his state of Pennsylvania and was Second only to Madison. He barely missed any sessions of the conventions. Wilson was also the writer of the one of the great compromises that being the 3/5 compromise so he was trying his hardest to get this thing ratified. I don't think without Wilson the constitution wouldn't have been ratified and we wouldn't be where we are today. I also say he's the first true tax evader of the United States What a mad lad.
