The Following civil rights have been violated by the Syrian government during the last decade, with mass use of chemical weapons to shut down both peaceful and violent protests alike, along with the unfair detainment of relatives and those with knowledge of members of ISIS. Alongside speculation of torture of those in detainment.

The abduction of children in Northern Uganda began in 1986,  spanning 18 years and leading to over 20,000 kids being kidnapped and trained for work, though they are also consistently used as 'soldiers' and to do fulfil certain tasks. The government itself violated human rights by recruiting children to be a part of the military, and the extent of child slavery in Uganda was revealed in 2002, the fight continuing till 2003 until the amount of child slavery ceased to be publicised. Report from 2013 and 2018 display the ongoing conflict pertaining to child slavery, and the UN is still struggling to restore all human rights in the country.

Basic rights for the lgbtq+ community have always been frowned upon. Chechnya a little city in the south of Russia is killing gay men and women due to their sexuality. Its a place where gay people live in fear of getting killed the next day or any minute. Rights that were violated: Article 1 which states about all human beings being free and equal by birth which is not seen in Chechnya has gay people are not treated equally and are aren’t given any freedom as they live in terror. Article 5 is violated as it states “No Torture” but the people living in Chechnya are getting killed and tortured everyday as they don’t ‘fit’ in the community of heterosexual according to the murderers.
