Disadvantages -
1)Too much words à could make it simpler by just using one word

2)Materials cannot be kept

3)More suited towards individual play rather than for a group
 Adaptations -
This kit is a very good inspiration for our own resource kit but we have to tweak some of the materials to make the kit lasting. Can consider using natural materials and including in a bear to make it more related to the story.

2)Open ended materials allow for creative play (e.g. can do sequencing, matching etc)

3)Rather easy to make

Disadvantages -
1)Cannot really feel as it is in a ziplock bag. 

2)Materials cannot be kept and using food product
 Adaptations -
Try to use materials that are more textured so children will be able to feel even through the ziplock bag. Also, we can add in words on the ziplock bag to incorporate the literacy aspect

2)Can tweak the book into simpler version if required

3)Children can create the book themselves

Disadvantages -
1)To make the book more ‘real’, more materials may be needed to incorporate more textures.

2) The book seems a little too small if it is meant to be read to the entire class.

Adaptations -
Can make the book bigger and use utilized more different textures to make the different scene more realistic. Also, can incorporate the literacy aspect by putting in words or getting children to match the word to the scene (e.g. ‘grass’ to the scene of tall wavy grass)
