1. Write the Story (1-2 Sentences)

Each class will write one or two simple sentences in English.

• What to write: Describe Paddington’s visit to your school or town. What did he do? What did he see?

• Example: "Paddington arrived in Timișoara and played hide-and-seek with the children in the garden."

  
  

2. Create the Art (Drawing or Craft)

Children will create a colorful illustration or a hand-made craft to match their part of the story.

• The "Magic Gift": Don't forget to show the object your class gives to Paddington to carry in his suitcase for the next country!

As he walked down the cobblestone streets, he reached a bright, colorful gate. It was a happy kindergarten, and the air was filled with laughter and songs. Paddington looked up and smiled:

— “What a sunny place! I’m sure I’ll find new friends here,” he whispered to himself.

As the sun began to set, Paddington opened his suitcase. It was empty and ready to be filled with memories.

— “Dear children,” he said with his very best manners, “I must continue my journey to Greece. Could you give me something small that you made yourselves to take to the children there?”

The children talked it over and got to work. Using colorful paper and little sticks, they crafted a cheerful pinwheel that spun around at the slightest breeze. They gave it to Paddington, and he tucked it carefully into his Magic Suitcase.

— “Thank you, Timișoara! This pinwheel will carry the wind of our friendship across lands and seas!”

"Welcome, Paddington!" they all shouted together! “We’re waiting for you to help us!” they said, and showed him some little pots with beautiful, colorful flowers, which they had bought so they could all plant them together in a lovely corner of their playground.

They dug, planted, watered, and... their little flowers were ready to decorate the schoolyard—so beautifully!

"Thank you, Paddington," the children said!

"Thank you too, I had a wonderful time and felt that I helped bring a little bit of spring to your school as well."

"How about giving you a pretty little flower we made ourselves to take with you on your journey?"

"What a wonderful idea!!" he said.

The children made him a beautiful paper flower to remind him of the lovely day he spent with them, he put it in his Magic Suitcase and said goodbye to them as he headed off to his next destination!

The children showed him their colorful drawings and beautiful butterfly crafts. They sang a cheerful Romanian song and danced together in the classroom. Paddington laughed and clapped along, feeling very happy to be part of their group.

“Thank you, dear children,” Paddington said kindly. “I had a wonderful time with you, and I will always remember your kindness.”

Before he left, the children gave him a lovely butterfly to keep. Paddington carefully placed it in his Magic Suitcase and waved goodbye as he continued his adventure to the next country.

Sitting by the sea, they all shared a delicious, warm bougatsa, and Paddington was very careful not to get powdered sugar on his blue coat!

"The White Tower is grand, and this pastry is even better!"

Paddington laughed happily. Before he left, the children gave him a small olive branch as a gift of peace and friendship to carry in his Magic Suitcase on his way to the next country.

Paddington traveled from Evosmos to the friendly neighborhood of Ampelokipoi to visit the 6th Kindergarten. He walked with the children to the Alexander the Great Park by the sea, where they looked at the tall statue and watched the seagulls fly over the blue water.

The Magic Gift: To remember his walk by the Thermaic Gulf, the children gave Paddington a small, handmade wooden boat with a tiny white sail. Paddington felt very proud as he tucked the little boat into his Magic Suitcase, ready to sail toward his next destination!

After that, Paddington went for a walk in the pine forest and enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful trees. Later, he went to the beach and tried surfing. He had a lot of fun in the sea and laughed with the children. In the evening, Paddington visited El Colorado fair, where he listened to music and danced sevillanas with everyone.

Before leaving for his next adventure, the children gave Paddington a small fan to put in his magic suitcase, so he could remember our town and the wonderful time he spent with us.

The students also had a very special gift for him: a colorful 'Lambada' (Easter candle), which children carry in Greece. Paddington was fascinated by the festive spirit and the smell of the fresh cookies. He carefully placed a 'Lazaraky' and his red egg in his Magic Suitcase, while holding his candle high. He waved goodbye to his friends in Keratsini, carrying the light and the joy of the Greek Easter to his next destination!

After giving him a very warm welcome, accompanied by traditional Cretan music, they set off for their destination. Sitting on the beach, enjoying the sun and the sea, they also enjoyed traditional Cretan delicacies such as the Cretan salad “dakos.”

Paddington was speechless at the exotic beauty of the beach, the pink sand, and the incredibly delicious food. “I have never seen such crystal-clear blue waters, nor have I ever tasted such a tasty and filling salad,” he said.

He was so happy and cheerful. Before he left, the children gave him a beautiful seashell as a token of gratitude and friendship for his visit, so that he could place it in his magical suitcase and remember them as he continued his journey across Europe.

We were all in the playground playing games when we saw him.

Hello, Paddington! we shouted with joy.

He smiled and waved.

Can you play with us? we asked .

And so, the adventure began!

First, we played Football together.

Then we jumped through the hoops.

Then we had fun with the balloons!

After all the games, we went for a walk to the village square.We showed him the beautifull fountain, the flowers and the old clock

We danced for him and he danced with us!

We gave him our balloons as a goodbye gift.

Thank you, my new friends! said Paddington.

He tipped his hat waved goodbye, and continued his journey...

but he will always remember the day he came to our school!

It was an unforgettable and magical day when Paddington Bear personally visited our San Mauro Marchesato preschool in Italy! He arrived on our doorstep exactly as we had imagined, wearing his iconic blue coat and large red hat, carrying his trusty old leather suitcase bearing the initials "PB." With eyes filled with wonder, we took him by the hand and led him into the beating heart of our school: our beautiful and welcoming library, surrounded by rows of colorful books.

All the children, proudly wearing their school aprons, gathered around the large wooden table with Paddington. We shared wonderful moments of friendship: we told him our favorite stories, explored the shelves together, and leafed through the pages of a special, oversized book called "The Magical Library Book." Paddington listened attentively, his ears twitching with delight.

Before he left for his next European destination, we wanted to make sure he would never forget us. To fill his magical suitcase with memories, we gave him two precious treasures. First, the book we had read together, so he could reread it during the long journey. Second, we surprised him with the wonderful artwork we'd created with our own hands: beautiful bright blue posters with fluffy white dandelions painted like clouds, decorated with real green leaves we'd collected and lovingly glued together. Paddington was so happy he smiled at us, ready to take our love and story to the next country!
