I want to focus on creating a holistic approach to trauma healing for my community by learning skills through this program but also through learning about herbalism, meditation, traditional african spirituality, and community care models. Ideally, the practice would involve some sort of reparations model that will allow me to provide free or low cost therapy to activists and to Black trans folks. I'm excited to learn more skills in the next two years that will make this dream possible and make me a more confident healer. I currently do work as part of the Black Visioning Group that communicates those dreams to, and guides and supervises, an accomplice group of white and non-Black poc to organize around making those housing dreams come true (raising funds, finding co-signers etc.).
