I am reading a book called The 5th Wave. Jacob D'Eramo recommended it to me. It is the first science fiction book I can remember reading in years. The story is about a girl named Cassie who is one of the last remaining humans after Earth is invaded by aliens called The Others. I am on Chapter 7 so I've gotten to know Cassie as she is hiking to a safer place. She is smart in the way she handles herself in the wild. I cannot get over how brave she is since she is so completely alone. The story has flashbacks, so I am just figuring out the details to what happened. I think this book is meant for teens and older because of the topics and language. The movie is coming out soon, so I will look for a possible movie trailer.

I am reading Series Of Unfortunate Events The Ersatz Elevator.It is about these three kids name Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. There parents were killed in a fire and the kids are sent away to live with a relative called Count Olaf. He is trying to steal the Buediclairs great fortune left over from their parents. In each book there is a different adventure of how Count Olaf tries to steal their parents fortune. I love the series because each book is an exciting adventure of sadness, joy and excitement. There are thirteen books in the series and I'm on book six. My cousin Alaina who go's to Tyler Run recommended this series to me. What I really like about the book is at the end of each chapter, there is a really exciting thing that makes me want to keep reading. I hope you get a chance to read this also, because it is the most exciting series I have ever read.

I just finished Bindi book three. This book is about a girl named Bindi who loves animals and works at the zoo, but when she hears that there is a fire at the zoo she zooms to the zoo and calls the animal ambulance and takes all the animals that can fit. This book is an adventure book and it is a chapter book. I would recommend this book to all ages of kids because it teaches kids an important roll of animals. If you want to find out more read the book.

I am reading Eldest of the inheritance series. It is a good book by Christopher Paolini and it has dragons. It has magic and Elves and Dwarves and Urgals. The main character's name is Eragon and he is a dragon rider, to. It is a fantasy chapter book. Eragon (from what I've read) has a disability that causes him to not be able to move is back as many ways as we can. I wonder if that disability will ever get healed....? Anyways, it's a great book.

This week i finished Voyagers book 2.I like Voyagers because its a unique setting and also very unexpecting parts about it. The book is about when the world runs out of power and 6 girls and 6 boys (there all 12 because adults cant handle space unless they take this medicine witch they don't have much of it). But when they get on the spaceship there was a mysterious man on the ship and wondering if he is lying.

I'm reading Diamond Willow. The genre for this book is realistic fiction and the format is verses. So far the main character is Willow. Willow is out with three dogs the dogs names are Roxy, Cora, and Magoo. Willow went so fast and tolled Roxy to slow down the a branch went deep down into Willow's leg and Roxy Puts her face in the snow and the snow turns red. Roxy eye start to bleed. i am still reading 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief' so if you haven't read my first post of the lightning thief go check it out.

warning! some spoilers!

i am on chapter sixteen and so far it is a good book because it has a lot of action and it has some funny moments and has a LOT of greek mythology,which i love! I am at the part in the book where Percy,Grover,and Annabeth are on there quest to find the lightning bold and have to find there way to the Empire State building so they can find there way to the Under World and get the bolt and then go to the 600th floor on the Empire State building witch is where the Gods are so Percy can return the lightning bolt back to Zeus.

I recamend this book to anyone who likes greek mythology and long chapter books.

I am reading this book because a young Jedi has trouble in well what we call school but he calls it an academy. He does not exactly do things perfect or good.And the new Star Wars movie is coming out to.December 18th 2015.And I wanted to try a Star Wars book.(I heard they were amazing books, and my brother read these books, so I want to try it.)

I am reading the magic trap so far Evan wants to barrow $20 from Jesse so he can buy a rabbit and then cut a hole in the table to do a magic trick.Evan does not know how he will do it but Jesse knows how to do it but the only help Evan wants from jesse is giving him $20. Also Jesse and Evans dad comes over because their parents were divorced so they did not see each other very often but it was not summer,christmas, ,halloween,thanksgiving or anyones birthday so why did he come? find out in the book:)

Im in the middle of the book its a pretty long book for myself and while Im reading Ive been really learning a lot about Alli she is the main person of the book . Yo what up,I have been reading Diary of a wimpy kid hard luck and it has been AWESOME!!!!!And you may know a ton about it but,I will just give you some info.So there was this thing going around Greg's neighborhood,and it is these kids called the Mingo kids.And the Mingo kids HATE greg like I mean HATE.Whenever Greg goes by the Mingo kids territory which is the woods, the Mingo kids CHASE Greg and maybe sometimes even Rowley!!And their is this thing at school and it is called hero point,you win it by helping someone,for example if somebody drops their books and you help them pick it up,you earn a hero point.You can exchange the hero points for extra recess and stuff,but the biggest one is one day off from school WOW!!!That is all I will give you but if you want to know more READ THE BOOK!!!

Its Monday what are you reading. I'm reading Diary of a Wimpy kid Old school its about a kid named Greg his parents send him to a day camp and he hates it. But he notices the kid in the back of the bus that was leaving had a sign saying beware Silas scratch and soon does he know he's in the woods by himself in the night collecting sticks for the fire so he's been walking for a while he is at the point where he can't see the camp site, as he keeps walking he sees a strange broken log cabin. so to find out more read the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello I am reading Camp Babymouse! about this book, this book is all about that Babymouse wants to Camp but it's not that very fun as she expect... the other people doesn't like Babymouse when Babymouse came to cabin #7. The leader, Dee-Dee, say "Now, every cabin will get points based on various competitions this week. you will get demerits if you aren't paying attentions,are late or or are messy."Babymouse tried her best for not to make any mistake for other people in her cabin, but she "Day-dreamed'' but... after she "Day-dreamed'' she made a mistake and her leader had to take away points.

Abigail calls her brother Pain. Abigail calls her brother Pain because he just is.
Jacob calls his sister The Great because Abigail wants her brother to call her that.

Question:

*I wonder if Abigail going to be more kinder to Jacob?
*I wonder if Abigail is the main character?

I've been reading The Lost Hero for the last couple weeks or so I'm on chapter 20 so I can name a few characters such as Festus the dragon, Leo, Jason, Piper, Nyssa, and Zethes. This book is a fantasy, chapter book. I also know the main character's parents. Leo's dad is Hephaestus, Piper's mother is Aphrodite, and Jason's dad is Zeus. If you read this book keep in mind that Jason's last name is Grace it comes back later. Jason also lost his memory so he can almost not even remember much at all but he is in a sticky situation because Hera is in a cage but she was the one that took his memory and he has to let her out of the cage if he wants to get his memory back.

That is all the info I want to give out I don't want to spoil the whole book.

I am reading a book called The Hunger Games. It is a story about a girl named Katniss Everdeen. Katniss is going into a battle-like program called The Hunger Games. She volunteered to go into The Games instead of prim her little sister going into The Games. Right now where I am in the book district 12 is going into a battle where other districts are fighting to the death as a tradition. And Katnisses styler is putting fire onto the soldiers cape that are about to fight to the death.i would recommend reading this book if you like violent and a whole lot of action in a book.

Hello its Monday what are you reading? Well I am reading the book called "Annika Riz Math Whiz." And o boy! You people HAVE TO read this!!! Here are some reasons why:
The main Character \ important parts:
The main character in this book is a girl called Annika, and she and another boy in her class called Simon Ellis, are the SMARTEST in the class. And so one day their Teacher Mrs. Molina tells Annika and Simon that there is going to be a math contest at the library, and the math contest is about who can finish a Sudoku Puzzle the fastest! And Simon and Annika were chosen to V.S each other to see who is smarter. The contest will start next week.
So Annika is studying real hard to win the Sudoku Contest. So during recess Annika and Simon get out some Sudoku Puzzles to study. And they both got out the same Puzzles... So on the count of three they will both start the first puzzle. 1, 2, 3!
Bad news... Simon won the first puzzle!!
So i have only read those parts so far.
Questions:

Who will win?
Is Annika going to be able to beat Simon?
What will happen next?

so she moves away from her best friend Rose. I pick this book because Alec recommend it to me also I can relate to this book because when I moved I lost my best friend and my dad lost his job. But Diana can still contact Rose but I can't. I also pick this book because it dose not have a lot of words on a page. I think people that like picture books should try it because it like picture book but longer. I am reading Storybound. It is a fantasy book. It is about a girl named Una who went into her schools library basement. A boy in a hood is in her spot. Una asks him to move and he said no. He starts walking toward her and gives her a scarlet book, and all of a sudden she's in a forest sitting on a rock. She finds a cave and goes in. Theres a speck of light far down the cave and she hears voices near it. She hides behind a wall when they start walking toward her.

Thats all I can tell you because I don't want to give away the story. It's a really good book and I recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy.

This Ivy + Bean book is called Ivy + Bean Break The Fossil Record The book is about 2 girls who never meant to like each other. Ivy is a girl across the street from Bean, same with Bean. They are in second grade and their teachers name is Ms. Aruba - Tate. Bean has black strait hair and Ivy has red curly hair. I like Ivy the best because she is so intelligent for a second grader. I'm reading a book called: Whatever after Dream on. It's about a girl named Abby and her little brother Jonah. Abby was supposed to have a sleepover with her friend Robin but when Robin sleep walks downstairs INTO THE BASEMENT!!! when Abby specifically made a plan not to let her go in there by herself, she did. Now Abby and Jonah are after her in the tale of sleeping beauty where they both have a very big adventure and meet very strange characters and other not so strange characters.
I think you would enjoy this book and I hope you read it too!

I am reading Epic on the iPad my favorite series is the animal attack books. The favorite book of the animal attack is BULL SHARK ATTACK the reason why it is my favorite because their is tons of info about The Bull shark. What the Bull shark does is when it sees an human it rams into your leg and then your leg will get crushed the reason why they do that is because you cant walk out of the ocean and then the bull shark will tug you in the ocean then go under the then eat you up. The audience for the this book is 9 and older if you like sharks you should read this but if you do not like sharks do not read this and their is lots of blood in the book. The author name is Lisa Owings she does the whole series of animal attack books.

I finished reading Charlie And The Chocolate Factory; Concerning the adventures of four nasty children, and Our Hero with Mr. Willy Wonka and his famous Candy Plant. My favorite parts were: When Augustus Gloop goes up the pipe to the Fudge Room. I would laugh histarically when I see the movie.The part where Veruca Salt wanted to keep one of the squirrels in The Nut Room, but she was sent down the garbage chute from all 100 squirrels.And the last part: When Charlie was able to own the factory for a lucky winning prize......This book is Realistic Fiction. This book is recommended for people who like silly scenes and, (Most super importantly,) Chocolate lovers!

I am currently reading a chapter book from the Warriors series called Starlight. The cats of all four clans have arrived to their new home when the humans and their construction machines began destroying the forest. A couple books before, focused on the same thing, four cats got chosen by all of the clans' warrior ancestors called StarClan, one from each clan, and they traveled on a journey together. Once the cats returned, they warned the clans that they needed to leave the forest. ALL of the clans together went on another journey to find their new home. As I mentioned earlier in this paragraph, the clans arrived to their new home and they are now searching for new territories, a new meeting place for gathering, and something like the "moonstone" in their old territory so the leaders of the clans and the clans' medicine cats could speak clearly to StarClan. Although the clans know that they've reached their new home, dangerous cats, strange lands, and other unknown fates await the cats of ShadowClan, RiverClan, WindClan, and ThunderClan.

I have just started reading a book called Zane And The Hurricane by Rodman Philbrick.
The story is Historycal Fiction.The story takes place in 2005,New Orleans. This book is about a boy called Zane and his dog called Bandit\Bandy.They live in New Hampshire,but went to New Orleans to see Zanes gramother,someone that Zane has never seen or heard of before.Zanes mother stayed home,Zanes father died when a old man had a heart attack driveing,so Zanes father got trampled.So that meant that Zane was on his own,with just his dog,Bandy.I am so exicited about what might happen in this book.I am at the part when the hurricane has already struck,and Zane and Bandy are in a attic,water raiseing,and that is where i left off.

I am on chapter 16 at the moment. Here are somethings about this book.
This book involves a lot of problems for Evan and Jessie, and all i can say is that there are couple of hurricane.

It is a realistic fiction
Evan is getting ready for a magic show that he created, Jessie is very interested and wants to join in in the fun, meanwhile, Evan and Jessie's dad has come in to the Treski's house and is "staying there" till there mom returns from San Fransisco because of meetings being held there.

right now i'm reading the one and only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. I think the genre is realistic fiction but the gorilla tells the story not someone else. I think 6 and up should read this book because it has some hard words but most of the pages don't have the hole page filled with words. The story is about this gorilla that loses his family and gets sent to exit 8 big top mall and video arcade mall and is a big hit for a few months but then isn't that big of a hit. But he is also in a circus but he is getting really old. The problem with the circus is the the domain next to hi there is an elephant thats leg back is really hurting hurting hurting. that is as far as got in the book but next Monday I will fill you in with more info.

The gulf oil spill book I read on epic was by far the best book i've read before. it has lots of information about the gulf oil spill and how it happened and how bad it was. ( It was in the gulf of Mexico.) And trust me it was bad!!!!!!!!!! if you want to read it for yourself on epic books.

I just finished the land of stories (beyond the kingdoms). Thankfully it is not the last book of the series. It will be coming out this coming Summer so if you are waiting for book 5 sadly, you probably won't read it this school year but possibly over the Summer if somehow the library gets the book you can still read it.

This book is about Alex and Conner. Alex is "un fairy god mothered" witch means she cant be the fairy godmother any more because she can't control her emotions. Their uncle who looks like their dead father and Alex is convinced that he is her father.
