I definitely feel that I could do better with this one. A couple things I learned is that it is best to do it in halves, instead of going for a whole. If I were to do this again, I would only do half the pumpkin. That would leave me more space to add some other Halloween objects in such as bats and ghosts. I used a tape measure, glue stick, X-acto knife , scissors, and two different color papers. This required a lot of time and precision. I had a bit of a tough time with the X-acto knife but I figured out a good combo with the knife and the scissors. I especially, thought it was funny, that I unknowingly choose the deer photo used in the example above for one of mine. I think you will know which one! That one was especially hard. I found the the very small details very hard to cut out but overall I am happy with how it came out. I identify with this piece bc of the naturalistic vibe it has. I am originally from the East coast and deer are big over there. Something about deer is so country to me. This piece made me feel at home.
