She was asking zoos and other people to help the chimps. Since everyone was helping the chimps they became more popular and it worked to save them from extinction.

One of the highlights in Jane Goodall's life was that she saved chimps from becoming extinct. Another highlight was learning how brave she was when she went in the forest alone to study chimps. She wrote a book about the chimps to share her experience. This helped other people learn more about chimps. The thing that made Jane Goodall famous was when she wrote a book about chimps and what she had learned. The book was in the news and people who studied chimps hired her and she became famous.

Yours truly,
Ella Henderson

Dear Mrs. Copley,
I am reading ''Who
was Rosa Parks'' by Yona Zeldis McDonough, the genre is biography. Rosa Parks was born February 4, 1913. She was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. She attended school in the rural south. She remembered going to elementary school where the white students rode the bus and the black students had to walk. Under the Jim Crow laws, racial segregation was imposed in public places and retail stores in the South. That included public transportation. Buses and trains had separate seating for blacks and whites. In December 1943, Rosa Parks started working with the Civil Rights Movement. She worked as a secretary in the NAACP. She worked for equality even before the Montgomery bus boycott. On December 1, 1955 after a long day at work she refused to give up her seat on the bus in the "whites only" section. When she refused to give up her seat, she was arrested. This started the Montgomery bus boycott and was very important in the civil rights struggle. This was an important part of American history.
Sincerely,
Chloe Wallace.
