Guiding questions throughout this course for me: How can I create the most effective classroom setting to meet the learning needs of my primary students? What would a primary classroom look like? (i.e. centers, anchor charts) Throughout the process of establishing a classroom setting, I need to understand the learner profile; thus, I look forward to learning about the primary student including cognitive and social development. I would like to take away information pertaining to identifying and teaching a student who may be struggling with learning. I would also like to take away from this course information that will help me develop strong lessons that will motivate students, and help them be independent thinkers as well as resilient learners. In addition, I am interested in learning about diverse assessment methods and creating success criteria. I am excited about creating a supportive, and welcoming primary classroom. I look forward to learning from my colleagues. Creating and using this site is new learning for me introduced in this course!
