You can use them online and in other countries to buy things. You do not have to carry cash around with you. There also some consequences though and those are that you can spend to much money and will go in debt if you cant pay it back at the end of the month. You have to save your receipts and you have to do a lot of paperwork. People can steal your credit card and spend a bunch of your money.

They are all varying APR and are in the similar APR values at around 12%- 24%. They all have an average daily balance to compute the Balance.
