Instantly, as a reader you know SOMETHING is going on, and you have to read more to learn what it is! It's also the most elegant of the intros, as it uses a nice mix of longer sentences and shorter, quippier lines to have an even flow throughout! I say this because it makes a bold statement right from the beginning, then it shows a bit of a timeline after.
