When the baby is born, everything changes. The baby was so used to being in the womb for 9 month. After those nine months the baby is now adapting to the new environment. According the Annie Murphy Paul's TED talk, the baby was learning the mother's voice. So when the baby is born, that baby only wants its mother. Annie describe this by the sucking experiment. The baby is then continued to be loved by the family.
