Can I help to educate my elementary school students in some way? Or are they too young? Some of my students live in homes that use food banks each and every month. They also live on food stamps because no one in the home will get a job. How do we break this cyclic problem in our society? There should be no Kindergarten student who knows what it means to be in jail, to be under house arrest, to know what it feels like to be in a home where they have a drug bust on Christmas Eve.
