it may also take longer than shooting someone else. since you're the person shooting and modelling at the same time

You will need to consider how you will be taking the photo. Will you use a timer? Remote trigger? Or maybe someone else pressing the shutter?

You won't be able to see the image as you are taking it, so you will need to carefully plan and review each shot.

You are going to have to find something to put your camera on such as a tripod.
