What is the main argument being presented in the video?

The main argument was that women and children need more access to health care.

They used Ethos being presented by using real people to create credibility by showing the struggle is real. Pathos because they use sick children to make the audience feel sad and the nurses to have the audience sympathize with them. Logos because they were showing the hospitals that shut down.

Children need access to health care which is not being provided to them

Audio/ sad music, voice overs. Linguistics/ interviews, first hand accounts from people. Visual/ video in general for visual as they use the videos of children in hospitals, and examples of hospitals closing.

The American Health Care System should improve and be better equipped to handle sick children.

One appeal used in the video was an appeal to pathos and they used many modes, such as aural, visual, and linguistic as they interviewed nurses and parents of children in the ICU. Everyone expressed how difficult it is to take care of children in the ICU (or be the parents of the children and see them struggle) because of the lack of support and resources from the government. Also, an appeal to logos was used because the video included visuals of different hospitals across the country closing their pediatric ICUs.
