Imposter syndrome is essentially a feeling of un-deservingness. One great example I saw in the video is about Albert Einstein, who despite his accomplishments, felt on the same playing field as everyone else, that he didn't properly earn any accomplishments. This lead to harsh feelings of self doubt, and that leads me to a point in the notes about people with imposter syndrome feeling like it was all "luck", that they are un-deserving. What makes imposter syndrome so common is the self doubt. So many people feel inadequite, and then go on to not apply for that high position job or prestigious college, even if they have the experience, knowledge, or credentials to succeed. That what makes imposter syndrome so intriguing to me.

This disorder is interesting to me because of the stigma surrounding it. A lot of people think that people with schizophrenia are crazy, that they are murderers or out to hurt people. But, most people with this disorder are just struggling in different ways than us. People affected experience hallucinations (auditory, visual, tactile), and often have extreme delusions. An example of a delusion might include delusions of grandeur. Yeah overall I find this disorder very interesting

I watched a medical explanation of schizophrenia once. What I remember is it is usually identified by auditory and visual hallucinations. It often first appears at a young age. It is caused by the brain being over active in the regions for visual and hearing related cues. It almost never makes someone dangerous to other people by itself. And patients are often more dangerous to themselves. Like walking into traffic because you see a dog that isn't there. Some people with it also don't like being watched more than others. And there are multiple medications to try to make the lives of people with it better.
