Nowadays, communication using multimedia is a must for each and every one of us. It has become a chain in our lifestyle. It doesn’t matter what age you are as long as we can communicate. For me, communication among people must be delivered perfectly so we don’t misunderstand and lack of information. There’s some benefit of effective communication that I can elaborate for us. One of the benefit is a strong decision making. When we want to decide for something in our daily life, we must think and talk. A suggestion from other people is important so we can learn and decide wisely. This need a great communication among people. For people who work in a daily basis, a great communication is a vital aspect. It is the information for them to transmit, study, analyze, interpreted and stored. This will save them some time to analyze and decision making. Another benefit of great communication is a quick in problem solving. When people communicate, there will be argument and some point. Then people will come with a solution in that argument and agreed to that solution. Great productivity and a better control is one of the point that I can elaborate for the worker’s in a company. Communication is the key to success either you have to talk directly or using multimedia.

Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It is what enables us to pass information to other people, and to understand what is said to us. You only have to watch a baby listening intently to its mother and trying to repeat the sounds that she makes to understand how fundamental is the urge to communicate.

Communication, at its simplest, is the act of transferring information from one place to another. It may be vocally (using voice), written (using printed or digital media such as books, magazines, websites or emails), visually (using logos, maps, charts or graphs) or non-verbally (using body language, gestures and the tone and pitch of voice). In practice, it is often a combination of several of these.
Also, a good communication might save a relationship. Based on the research that has been conducted by professional the main reason for the break-up or divorce is because of lack of communication and miscommunication. For that has been said, we can see that how much communication contribute in our daily life and it's also show that communication is playing big role in our social life, relationship, and also in workplace.

To be frankly, I agree with every points stated by my friends here. And for me, everyone is commonly sharing most likely the same thoughts. Communication is very important nowadays and we need to have that skills inside us. Even if we don't, we somehow need to polish the skills. Without communication skills, we can't be able to talk and fit in the new environment. Why? Because we will feel awkward and shy talking to a strangers. But, if we train ourselves to communicate freely with everyone, it would give us a huge benefit in the future. So, how do we improve our communication skills?

Make communication a priority. Take classes, read books, magazine articles or learn from successful communicators around you. Seek a mentor or coach.

Simplify and stay on message. Use simple, straightforward language. Remember that Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address was 286 words, about two minutes long.

Engage your listeners or readers. Draw your listeners and readers into the conversation. Ask questions and invite opinions. Solicit their feedback.

Take time to respond. After you’ve listened (and understood) take time to “draft” in your head what you want to say.

Make sure you are understood. Don’t blame the other person for not understanding. Instead, look for ways to clarify or rephrase what you are trying to say so it can be understood.

Develop your listening skills, too. The best communicators are almost always the best listeners. Listen without judgment and don’t be distracted by thinking about what you want to say next. Then, respond, not react.

Body language is important. Studies show that 65% of all communication is non-verbal. Watch for visual signs that your listener understands, agrees or disagrees with your message. And be aware that your body is sending signals, too.

Maintain eye contact. Whether speaking to a crowd or one-on-one, maintaining eye contact builds credibility and demonstrates you care about your listeners.

Respect your audience. Recognize your message is not just about you or what you want. You should sincerely care about the needs and the unique perspectives of those to whom you are communicating. One of the best ways to show your respect is simply by paying attention to what they say.

If we practice and plant the urge to improve ourselves in communication, we will achieve it one day. Because communication is very important and it is one of the key to success. Without having the communication skills, we can't be successful.

It's true that the importance of communicate is must in everyone life. But we must not leave out the cons of communicate. I'm not saying that communicating is not recommended or must but because communicate is mostly related to human we must know that it will be contribute to the cons of communication. For example when in some relationship there must a fight that leading to it's downfall and when that is happening some people will try to talk out recklessly to recover back their relationship.
So you talk and talk and talk and try to work it out. But the more you voice your thoughts, your opinions and words, the more the other half seems to fade away. They turn their face. They begin to filter out your voice. Sometimes, it’s better to be silent too, to let them hear the sound of their own voice. Sometimes, they might not say anything at all. Sometimes, they’re just tired of everything and want the silence.
But I'm not saying that we must stay silent at the most time. You must learn when to talk and when to stay silent. Because communication is very related to the emotion. So in some emotion we don't realize what are we saying not only when you are angry but even when sad, confused or etc. By the way all of your opinions are very useful and knowledgeable and very informative. There is no right or wrong in opinions so don't afraid to give your thoughts and please voice out if you're not agreed with me

Communication is a Latin word which means ‘to share’. It is the sharing of information between different individuals. It includes the sharing of ideas, concepts, imaginations, behaviours and written content. Communication is simply defined as the transfer of information from one place to another. This transfer of information can be conducted in different ways. Communication is a simple process, yet showing complexity in some aspects. Different ways of communication and the distances over which one is required to transfer the information make the process complicated. There are three elements necessary to conduct a communication i.e. the sender, a medium (the platform over which information is conducted) and a recipient. The sender is the most involved person with a full understanding of that matter which he wants to deliver. On the other hand, the receiver does not necessarily know about the sender and the subject of information which the sender aims to deliver.

As for me, I think communication and its skills are very inportant. Why? Because being able to communicate well is important. There will be different people to communicate with. This includes family and different health professionals. Some of the information here may help to make this easier. When you are seriously ill, there will be many things that need to be discussed. Some of these discussions may be difficult and emotional. Your family and friends will be concerned about what is happening. They may have a lot of questions and concerns. It is helpful to think about how to manage these conversations. How do you want to share your information and who with? The people you are important to will also have their needs to share with you. You may not know how to talk to people about what is happening. There are health professionals who can support you with this. Consider choosing someone in the family to talk to everyone. Setting up a telephone tree may help. This is where each person contacts someone else. This shares the time involved in keeping everybody up to date. It also means that not everyone is calling you or your health professionals for an update. Talking is not the only way we communicate. Sometimes sitting quietly together can be enough.

As for me, i would say that all of the point that my friend stated are true. I would like to add up some of the point regarding the importance of communication. First of all, i would say that communication is something that we do everyday. Everyone need to communicate and basically different person comunicate in different ways. For example, using body language, verbal communication, and using sign. All of these are type of communication. As we look through the subject, all of us know the main importance of communication are to make sure that the information get to the receiver and to make make sure that the receiver adepts the information clearly. To be honest, certain people spread the wrong information due to lack of communication skills. This is why, they spread the wrong information before they know the validity of the news. besides, the importance of communication is to establish effective leadership. Effective communication between a manager and employee can help the organisation to reach their targets. Communication can acts as basis for decisions making as it uses information to set direction to solve problems. Last but not least, communication promote cooperation and peace. Effective communication creates mutual understanding and trust among the members of the organisation.

I am not a great speaker but i try to tell everybody about story and how it can do truly from my opinion for " THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION"

A blind beggar sat roadside with a singboard saying, "i am blind. Please help". Not much people bothered about it and he had just a few coins with him. A guy was walking by. He took the board, turned it around and wrote something over it. After some time, the guy came back to see what the thing were up to. He was amazed to see much more coins with the beggar. Curious what the wrote?

"TODAY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND I CANNOT SEE IT"

The first board simply said he was blind, but other board made people feel lucky that they were not blind. That's what appealed to them. This is a form of communication only. You can see how a good set of communication skills can change a person's perspective on a situation. This world is all about "presenting yourself". Your success is directly proportional to the efficiently and skills at it.

Last but not least, be a great communicators, you also need to know who is your target audience so you can discern how to best help them navigate through whatever pain, problem or predicament they've carried to you to help them solve. To do this, you need to be a really good listener not just to their words, but to their body language so you can read between the lines and discern unspoken concerns from them.

For Sender, Sender is the source of the message or the person who originates the message and sends it to the receiver.

Communication is an instinct fundamental to all living beings. The most important contact bearings are better known when there is a lack thereof. There's more to communication than just speaking and gesturing. Words are as important to communication as listening, knowing and interpreting. Even contact movements play a key role in the conveyance and understanding of the message. Similarly, how we interact or express ourselves is going a long way to decide how we view our words. To quote Karl Popper, "Act in such a way that you can not be misunderstood" Faulty or incomplete communication may mark the intent of communicating entirely and can lead to damaging consequences. This is where it comes into the picture to understand how important communication is, and to communicate the right way. Furthermore, any business 'success lies in networking and developing strong professional relationships just as much as it does in individual tact and business acumen. Communication is a key determinant of business relationships. When dealing with partners, clients, stakeholders, media and sometimes even rivals it is very important to say the right things at the right time and at the right place. Next, A leader is supposed to serve his / her followers and inspire them through individual and collective effort to attain heights of achievement. Communication is the best equipment which a leader can use to achieve this objective. Also values founded on strong principles will fall flat due to a lack of effective communication skills and fail to inspire. Lastly, I will answer what is receiver, sender and channel which is the 3 factors of communication. The sender is the person who initiates a message and is often referred to as the communicator or source of communication. The sender may be a speaker, a writer, or someone who simply makes gestures.

The communication brings people together and closer to each other. Therefore, i'm agree with all the statements here. There is no wrong when its comes to the opinion. And here are my words.

To effectively communicate, we must realize that we are all different in the way we perceive the world and use this understanding as a guide to our communication with others.

Communication is deeply intertwined with the human existence. It is an integral part of it. One cannot think of human life without communication. Can you imagine what would happen if you are not allowed to talk for a long time? You would feel suffocated. Imagine a day without communicating! We can instantly feel the void it would create. Can we ever forget that it is our ability to communicate verbally that distinguishes us from animals? Communication helps form a powerful bond among people and makes us social beings.

We communicate for a variety of reasons. We use communication to share information, comment, ask questions, express wants and needs, develop social relationships, social etiquette, etc.
Communication is much more than wants and needs. Our main reasons for communication change over time just slightly.

In personal life, we need to communicate to deal with various concerns and problems of daily life. In professional life also, it is communication that helps us to build healthy relations and credibility with co-workers.

Only speaking/talking is not communication. Communication can take place in many forms. Sometimes, we communicate by ‘talking’ about our ideas, thoughts or emotions; at other times, we may wish to communicate through the written word or even non-verbally. Whatever form we choose, getting the message across is what communication is all about.

Communication is a process that is dynamic, continuous, and irreversible but at the same time, it is reciprocal in nature. It is an ongoing process. Communication helps us to understand others. The inability to communicate can lead to a lot of problems both personally and professionally.

Roughly, we can define communication as a shared meaning between two or more individuals. The shared meaning arises out of the individual’s experiences, background, education and training.

I'm agree with all the statements. For my opinion communication also brings a good things to organisation. Effective Communication is significant for managers in the organizations so as to perform the basic functions of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Leading and controlling communication helps managers to perform their jobs and responsibilities. Communication serves as a foundation for planning. All the essential information must be communicated to the managers who in-turn must communicate the plans so as to implement them. Organizing also requires effective communication with others about their job task. Similarly leaders as managers must communicate effectively with their subordinates so as to achieve the team goals. Controlling is not possible without written and oral communication manager devote a great part of their time in communication. They generally devote approximately 6 hours per day in communicating. They spend great time on face to face or telephonic communication with their superiors, subordinates, colleagues, customers or suppliers. Managers also use Written Communication in form of letters, reports or memos wherever oral communication is not feasible. Thus, we can say that “effective communication is a building block of successful organizations”. In other words, communication acts as organizational blood.

Communication skills are important if we want to build meaningful relationships in our life. It is one skill which not only helps us in becoming successful in pur professional life but also helps us in our personal life, in dealing with people, understanding them, solving problems. Communication is not only speaking but learning to listen as well.

Communication may break down as a result of many communication barriers that may be attributed to the sender or receiver. Therefore, effective communication requires familiarity with the barriers. Choosing the right channel for communication is also important, because choosing the wrong medium undermines the message. When communication occurs in the cross-cultural context, extra caution is needed, given that different cultures have different norms regarding nonverbal communication, and different words will be interpreted differently across cultures. By adopting active listening skills, you may increase your communication effectiveness.

First of all, we know that communication is the process of sending and receiving messages. It is through verbal or non-verbal, means including speech or oral communication, writing and graphical representations, signs, signals and behavior. For me, communication is very important for us. Like we study before, in any communication there is a sender and a receiver, a message and interpretations of meaning on both ends. The receiver gives feedback to the sender of the message, both during the message's conveyance and afterward. Feedback signals can be verbal or nonverbal, such as nodding in agreement or looking away and sighing or other myriad gestures. Without communication, we cannot continue our life with smooth because its all about how we communicate with surrounding, people, animals and others. So, communication is playing big role in our whole life. That's all the point that i can give you about the important of communication. Thank you .

The person can improve the way they behave when they know their mistakes. Keep it in my mind, keep silent doesn’t solve anything. It just let the situation worser.

Based on my opinion, having a good communication skills makes us to had the ability to communicate effectively. It is perhaps the most important of all life skills.

Communication skills are more important than ever, for all fields of endeavor. Whether you’re an engineer or a communication scholar, having a firm grasp of communication will undoubtedly be a key role in your success. Oftentimes, people with great technical skills reach a point in their careers where they are no longer promoted, because of their inability to communicate effectively. Professors often tell anecdotal stories about students that have been hugely successful in gaining jobs right out of college, but then struggle to get promoted into management and leadership roles beyond their technical duties. This is because they were lacking in one fundamental skill that would have helped them shine above all their communication.
There are a number of things that all people can do to build on communication within their offices. Such as supplying the correct technology staff needs to be able to communicate swiftly and coherently both in and out of the office. Or, encouraging managers to communicate effectively with their teams.
There are a number of tools that people can use to promote effective communication in the office, when sitting down in a room together isn’t possible.
Email - Communicating through email is a great way to track communications and keep relevant people in the loop. Even though many businesses operate through email, it is important to teach your teams the value of this tool. Email applications often act as the tool that ties businesses together, with comprehensive meeting calendars, address books, and organisational functions at the fingertips of your team members.
Direct messaging - Email can be a great way to discuss wider projects. But, to make it easier for your employees to have fast conversations throughout the day, give them access to direct messaging tools such as whatsapp or Skype. These tools give them the ability to have real time conversations, without waiting for email replies.
Conclusion, communication is most in important how a ever we are good at work we do but if the our communication is bad the people surrounding will judge you is a not good to talk with or to do work with. For that our people must improve the communication between other people to avoid misunderstood among the people and also to avoid the people to judge who are we..
