I would rank D-Day number 1 just because it was Germanys first big loss. D-Day happened on June 6, 1944. Dwight D. Eisenhower was the lead general of the D-Day invasion. The outcome was giving Hitler his first big loss since he became the Chancellor of Germany.

I'd rank Pearl Harbor 2nd just because if this didn't happen the outcome of war could have been different. Pearl Harbor happened on December 7, 1941. I think President Roosevelt was a key individual just because the next day we declared war on Japan and entered World War 2.

I'd rank the Invasion of Poland 3rd because it started the war. The Invasion of Poland happened on September 1, 1939. A key individual is Adolf Hitler just because he told his soldiers to invade Poland. The outcome of the Invasion of Poland was that it was the battle to start World War 2.

I'd rank the Battle of Stalingrad 3rd because it was one of the most deadliest battles of all time. The Battle of Stalingrad happened on August 23, 1942. Freidrich Paulus was a German general and at the start of the Battle of Stalingrad he had 250,000 soldiers , 7,000 mortars and firearms, 25,000 horses, and 500 tanks. The outcome of the battle resulted in a Soviet Union victory.

I give the Hiroshima bomb dropping a 5 rank because it ended the war but it wasn't a battle. The bombing of Hiroshima was on August 6, 1945. President Truman decided to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The outcome of this was around 146,000 people most being innocent civilians.
