Dominica is a beautiful Island that belongs to the Caribbean Community. Centuries ago Dominica belonged to France, but in 1979 it became part of the United Kindom. The official language is French. However, other languages are spoken. For instance, 80% speak English, 70 % Creole. Surrounding the Island people speak a mix of languages called Patue which is difficult to understand.
The economy depends on tourism. There are many tourist places that people visit every year. For example, the capital Roseau, Mero Beach, Trafalgar, etc. Many waterfalls are attractive because Dominica is considered a natural and green Island.
Finally, the most exciting place attracted by tourists is The Boiling Lake.

Ecuador earthquake
On April 16, an earthquake of magnitude 7.8 hit the country. The most affected place is in the province of Manabi.
To date, more than 300 aftershocks have been recorded since that day.
Several people died, some even disappeared.
That day represented a lot of pain for Ecuador for intanse twin towers attack but it also represented strength and unity. As Ecuadorians we were able to move forward from that day and help each other.

Julio Jaramillo an Ecuadorian singer was born on October 1, 1935 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. By the age of 17, Jaramillo was becoming famous for having a beautiful and warm voice, and participated in radio programs. However, a life of excesses and lack of control affected his health, which got progressively worse. His first step was recording his first album, Mi pobre querida Madre. It was a huge success from the very beginning 6000 copies were sold within a week. At same time, he gained international recognition after the bolero Nuestro Juramento in 1957, and he made several tours in Latin America. He began a journey through Ecuador, Colombia, Perú, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile. Finally, Jaramillo died at the young age of 42. Since 1993, his birthday has been commemorated as a national holiday for the pasillo: Day of the Ecuadorian Pasillo.

My Daughter´s birth
The birth was an event for my family, it was also the arrival of my first child however a change in my life. I remember it was 3 in the morning of may 13, 2015 and suddenly I woke up and went to the bathroom, then I went back to bed for instance I felt that I had urinated but it was the amniotic fluid. I got very nervous and I didn´t understand why I didn´t pain. After my husband took me to a health subcenter and I was transfer to the hospital because I kept losing fluid when I got to the hospital there was no one to atend me after that my baby born at 8:40. Finally I knew my baby and she raised her little head toward me.

However, Roldos was in the power for almost two years. In this short time his goverment thought in Ecuadoriam citizen.
