Their&nbsp;diagnoses began the accusations within the village which led to "witch hunting."</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Many people were thrown in jail and left unable to pay for their stay during the trials. The families being accused did not get along with the accusers in the community after the trials although some public apologies were made. Those who were <gs id="a16ef93c-5311-4600-a976-03ddb668120f" ginger_software_uiphraseguid="01a8312c-ecff-488a-a86f-79ae6495a996" class="GINGER_SOFTWARE_mark">convicted lost</gs> their land leaving their families in poverty. The trials resulted in a total of 24 deaths.</p>]]></description>
