W - I want to know why no one cared to stand up against Hitler and the Nazis... Millions of deaths could have been prevented if just one person spoke against him, and many would've soon followed and spoken as well...
L - I learned that some were able to write in Hebrew even before it became an official language (Abraham Lewin did in the page of the diary that was shown in the video--I was able to read it).

As of poor conditions, he became outraged of inflation and planned to strike back. As a result, Adolf Hitler began to view Jews as the inferior and prompted to strip away their rights as revenge. He killed millions of Jews. The Nazis were coming house to house to investigate if there were any Jews living there. The Nazi's even took a name list and went to their houses. Because of this many Jews went into hiding. Many people who are against Hitler helped the Jews hide in their houses or even just give them food and water. Once the Nazis find a Jew they will bring them to a prison and eventually use gas chambers to poison ans suffocate them to death. Some would also do hard labor before getting murdered. The Jews in hiding would keep diaries and notes to record their harsh lives. Some of the people who are against Hitler are called the resistance. The resistance would risk their lives everyday to help other people escape. They would make deals with the cargo ship captains and hid Jews under the deck and bring them to another country. The people that were carrying a baby had to be drugged to sleep, so it would keep quite during the journey.
W- When the Jews escape, where did they go? Did they have people live in others homes? How did people hide Jews in their homes without being caught? Were some of the Nazis in the Resistance too? How many people agreed with Hitler?
L- I learned that the diaries people kept helped historians tell the story that we know today. They are always finding more information about our society and history on how everything came to be. Abraham Lewin was apparently a teacher who left documents about what was happening during the holocaust.
