Mrs. Fipps, was a wonderful teacher. She made learning fun, even when things were tough. I don't like spelling. It's hard and challenging for me. Mrs. Fipps would make it fun by making a game out of it. She would take a ball and we would pass it around and when you caught it we would spell out our vocabulary words. I was looking forward to coming back and seeing her when I graduate from college to show her how much she has helped me. I will do my best to make her proud.

she made my fourth grade one to remember. she intensified my love for reading and was so sweet to me, i remember helping her put up decorations on her board after school. she was so much fun, her vibe personality, just everything about her was so lovable. she was always checking on me even after i left edgewood. i’ll never forget her, rest east ms.fipps. i love you sm❤️

When I was moved from Primary to Edgewood, Wendy was my teaching partner. We had so many amazing times. She taught me how to be firm, but caring. She taught me what to do in the event of an asbestos breakout! She taught me to ‘keep the Little Debbie’s on the shelf!’ Wendy had an infectious laugh, an exuberant personality and a heart of gold. My life will be forever changed by having the opportunity to call her my friend. ❤️

Ms.Fipps made learning fun because she was always making jokes and just having fun. I remember Ms.Fipps teaching us about our multiplications and to this day i still use them if it wasn't for my sister getting her i would have never met this wonderful person i am so hlad to have her in my life and for her to teach me i just wanna thank her.

My mom & Mrs. Fipps were teaching partners from 2009 to 2012, and I had the honor of being in their class my fourth grade year. I’m not sure how she didn’t grow tired of dealing with me, but she was never impatient with me all those years I was running around her classroom before and after school. There were many days that it was Mrs. Fipps doing my hair in the mornings instead of mama! I am so blessed to have had Mrs. Fipps as a teacher and so glad my mom had the opportunity to be her teaching partner. ❥

I was blessed to be a student in Mrs. Fipps classroom in 2013-2014. Everything about Mrs. Fipps kept you hanging on to her every word. She was an amazing woman, full of so much love for everyone in her life. She never failed to put a smile on my face and always made the little things I did feel like such huge accomplishments that she was always proud of. While it makes me so sad I won't be able to drop by her classroom and see her anymore, I know she is in such a better place. God gained a beautiful angel. Will forever be thankful for the impact she had on my life.

I have never been able to meet Mrs. Fipps, but from what I'm seeing she seems like an amazing woman. I am sorry for her loss and sorry I was not able to meet her, as for the people the know her and miss her well, I understand how hard it could be get over it. I too have loss someone I love.

I had a rocky start off with her but in the end, She was my favorite teacher. And I'm sure the lives of her students in her own homeroom this year were very sad to hear but, mostly the ones that she knew last, Are very upset to hear about the passing of her.

I hate knowing that someone died its makes me cry and its sad knowing things like that. And i hope she in peace and not sufering of pain. she was so good and nice the first time i seen her she had so much kindness around her it made me feel more loved to the world then it is now and people need more loved in their life as more then hate. Sometimes its ok to cry and be sad just pray and keep praying happynss may come to you.

I met Mrs. Fipps when I was in 1st grade and she was in 2nd grade. That was 45 years ago. We went to school together for 10 years and remained friends throughout. I was blessed to be her coworker here at EES. She has always had a heart of gold. She loved to make people laugh and she thought of others first. She will be missed but I know she's smiling down on us. We have a guardian angel.

It goes without saying, Wendy was a remarkable human. She had character and charm that very few of us on this earth embody. She knew how to tell a story like no other person I know. As a small student, I remember thinking Wendy was so gorgeous, walking down the hallway to my fourth-grade classroom. As an adult, I got to know Wendy as a friend. She made us laugh almost daily with her Wendyisms. She sure did love to "rummage" through all free decorations people would have and make them her own. She loved what she did, and she made sure that the Wendy Fipps you got on Monday you also got on Friday. Please know that Wendy is in our hearts forever. She has impacted so many students, but most importantly, all of us as a staff, including myself. She is and will always be one of those that none of us can ever forget or replace in our hearts
