September 9, 1969

Hey guys, today i wanted to tell you about the most frightening experience I had while in space. When me and my team landed on the moon, it was exhilarating. The silence, the emptiness, and the huge grey moon right in front of us, was truly amazing. But soon after we landed we discovered a terrifying problem. My heart sank and my hands started to sweat. The lunar module shut down. I turned to Buzz and saw his terrified expression. Those moments, of not knowing what could happen, were the most terrifying that I have ever experienced. Soon after we reached mission control and everything was okay. But I stand by my word when saying, this was the most horrifying encounter while in space.

September 16, 1969

Something that many people don't know about me is that ever since I was a child I've been interested in space and aero technology. As a said ever since I was little the topic fascinated me. I would read, watch, and learn everything about it I could. This passion grew when I turned sixteen and piloted my first plane. The experience was incredible, and I wanted more of it. This continued when I decided to to study aeronautical engineering. This was of coarse interrupted by the Korean war, my drive never stopped. As you already know I pursued this when I became an astronaut.

August 1, 1969

Hello ! I was looking back on my posts and realized that I hadn't yet told you the thrilling story of first entering space. When I was strapped in and waiting for lift off I was nervous. But also exited . . . You know that feeling you get when its your first day of school and you feel all these mixed emotions of happy, scared, nervous, and exited ? This is what it felt like. When I heard the countdown start, my heart started beating . . . three, two, ONE ! BOOM, the boosters started, and we began our climb to space. What was first an unfamiliar and uncomfortable feeling, transformed into something amazing. Lift off was such a crazy experience !
