In the production of the title sequence we were advised to use that manual focus on the camera in order to get the best possible quality shots. This was successful as our footage ended up being clear and crisp and we had very little to worry about when it came to editing and visuals.

Adobe: Premiere Pro and After Effects

During the editing phase of the production, i learnt very quickly how to create a sequence of frames as Premiere pro allows you to easily place the pieces of footage together and cut them to the correct size. I also learnt how to colour grade the work using the detailed features of the app. One way in which this was made easier was the feature that allows you to copy the format of one frame and apply it to multiple frames. This helped us to make good use of the time we had to edit, as we didn't necessarily have to edit the footage frame by frame. Without this computer application, we wouldn't have been able to complete the editing within the deadlines.

In addition to Premiere Pro, we used After Effects where we added our title credits. Again, it allowed us to create professional looking titles and duplicate the same format to create a consistent, uniform sequence of credits. We were able to move the titles around, in the foreground of the frame, which allowed us to hand pick the dark areas of the footage that would contrast with the titles.

The app that i found most useful for editing was Premiere Pro as it allowed us to carry out most of the tasks needed for making the footage look professional and cinematic
